The brakes worked great for about an hour, once the system got hot everything crashed again. So more trouble shooting. But, the trailer is at its summer home, there is fishing and a nine hole course near by. So things are good. We are about 7000 feet so it stays nice pretty much all summer and is only a couple of hours from Mesa. Can never buy anything of the shelf with needing +1” so some more thinking on that. Was hitting it real well getting on average 250yds off the turf. Not really getting the gapping I was looking for. Maybe just learning how to hit a hybrid is going to be the play. We shall see William P, Cfhandyman, Byrnzee and 6 others 9 Quote Been playing for about 2 years in total. Winter breaks and a 6month period when I got sick. Starting to feel like myself again and recently played a “okay” round. I currently have custom fit Cobra LTDx irons/wedges, a Vokey 60(cause my short game has been the best part of my game, and a Maverick 9 deg. Driver. Reading the updates from Kingsmill trip just makes me wish I was up there instead of down in Virginia Beach working. Going to get out tomorrow afternoon after I get out and play 9. This coming week I am getting a package in from Prosendr. With getting more serious about golf now that I am close to retirement and wanting to possibly play in the veterans golf league, I want to be competitive. And my wrist position coming in my down swing is not consistent like I want it to be. Talking with my good friend who plays on mini tours in florid said it would help. Here's to hoping it does. I tried to go back to sleep after that, not very successfully. So I got up and checked one item off my to-do list: Applying for 2025 Masters tickets. Practice rounds are $100 per day, competition days are $140. I requested one of each (Wednesday and Thursday), figuring that was the best way to see the striped one before he misses the cut or withdraws. I will be notified in late July if I got lucky. Meanwhile, laundry, study and workouts today before I get back on the plane tomorrow. They're taking apps at the Masters website until June 20. I don't wanna read too much about the Kingsmill hijinks. I'll get too jealous. Hit 'em straight and hope your day is more fun than mine! I attempted to get a round in at sunrise this morning but after four holes I could no longer handle all of the gnats. We have a lot of water sitting around from all of the rain lately and the bugs are bad!! The swarm would follow me to my ball and then cover my head and face which was driving me nuts. With more rain in the forecast, I’m not sure when this nuisance will go away but hopefully it’s soon.
