Popular Post EasyPutter
Good morning on this overcast Saturday with rain in the forecast. Driving today to put son in place and prepared for the Cleveland Marathon with a start at 7am tomorrow. Decompressing from the week of PGA HOPE Secretary's Cup and PGA Championship that has been as amazing as anticipated for the past many months. Was carrying the Standard again yesterday for the next Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson, Kurt Katayama and Sahith Theegala. Rain was light most of the day with a heavy shower for the second half of the 18th hole so early crowds that were everywhere started thinning out and by the end there were very few left to cheer on the players still on course. It was a good 13 hour day away from the house. IndyBonzo
Good morning Spies! Recovering from a very late night of too much fun with friends, waiting for the coffee to brew. We laughed a ton, and nobody got hurt! Success. It’s a beautiful sunny morning in Brown County, IN, our home away from home. Unfortunately, my good friend’s biggest flaw is that he is not a golfer (ha) so no golf for me today, but a round should be on tap for tomorrow! Wishing you all fantastic days! BKervin
Good morning Spies! It's a rain all day here. Granddaughter is still here today. We had pancakes and bacon today. Found out she doesn't like bacon anymore! WHO doesn't like bacon?! The grandsons came over to play while she's here. So full house today! Thinking crackpot for dinner - can't decide between making meatballs and spaghetti or chili as the temperature is only 56° as a high. If you get out play today- take a couple of swings for me! richk9holes
Good 25 minutes past the hour to MGS, I'm watching the pros and staring at rain out the window. Will I brave the drizzle outside? Pros: courses will be empty I'll be able to ball test however I want in some inclement conditions. Rain is currently relatively light and it's 60s temperature wise. Total rainfall of .5" shouldn't make courses too soggy around here. Cons: getting rained on, watching these guys on TV they look miserable but it is warmer here. It being Saturday I'd be paying weekend rate for what might end up a mudfest. Also the weather forecast indicates rain intensifies around 5pm so any 18 hole I play at 2pm or later will get me drenched most likely. I'm going to Walter Sobchek it and "finish my coffee" while I think about whether to do a rain inspired Shomer Shabbas (sic) Added: Just thought of a "Homer Shabbas" and giggled like Butthead. sirchunksalot, berkeleybob, IndyBonzo and 4 others 6 1 Quote Finding a way to turn birdies into bogeys since 1992. #TeamChunks '23 Forum Tester: Elixir Golf Ball WITB:TS2 10.5° @ 11.25° Tensei blue AV 55 R graph•917f2 15° @ 16.5° Diamana blue x5ct dialed 70 R graph•Stealth 22° Ventus red 6 (non-velo) R graph• 699u 2i 17° tgi 70 R graph•24° Tour v 90 black pvd R steel•699 6i-PW Tour 110 black pvd R steel• SM8 50°/08° @ 52°/10° SM8 stock steel• Jaws Full Toe 56°/12° DG Spinner TI steel • c series DW 2.0 slant neck stock steel•Phantom 2 gps•Tour v3 rangefinder•Elixir golf ball•

Popular Post BIG STU
Good Sunday morning. Was up early as SOP for me. Rode over to Church early and did the warm up and run up on the sound. Another guy is running it on the 9 AM so I went back home. Will be back to run for the 10:30 service though. It is raining here again. Supposed to drizzle all day. Played the 9 and Dine Friday afternoon did decent considering we only used 3 of my partners shots. Played as a fill in in the Shootout yesterday. Got invited to play as a fill in in the Homeowners Association event today. I do not live in the community our course is in but was invited anyhow as a last minute fill in. I turned it down as I have church duties and do not want anything to do with the Association anyhow. Normally Sunday is Church day and a rest day for me. Haven't done it in years as I'm a boat snob and don't have a boat. I think we're planning on going sometime this year with friends and bank fish with some friends so their daughter can give fishing a try. I have never caught a pike, they aren't native to this area but have always wanted to. Those bad boys look mean and get huge! Even better than the fight and landing of those bad boy pikes is their fantastic taste!
