The architecture/skyscrapers in NYC are amazing. I've been so many times and am still in awe. Have a great time and flight home.

Same here! I go there for work a few times a year and each time it is such a great experience. However, I am going to be there for 8 days in July and that is a looooong time away from the course in July! haha

Well it was a good morning, then I went to work, now covered in fiberglass shards. Doing my best to not touch my clothes, my forearms are covered and the shards are working their way through my shirt. Carhart pants are doing ok, but I have a lot of movement to do before I get home to change. Could be an interesting day.

Hoping I can make it to the range but we shall see. I might be googling how to remove fiberglass from your body.

mall in all it is better tk be above ground than 6’ deep.

Good morning everyone, very cold Thursday morning about 29 at the house, but should rebound quickly. Looks like it might actually be Edel iron arrival day, always skeptical but they were just about 45 minutes south so hopefully it made it on the truck. Should find out at about 1 if they are here or not. If so I might need to sneak out as I have a break from 1:30 to 3:30 which sounds like perfect range time. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Spies! Wow, reading the morning temps around the country - high 20's to 40's.  Not rubbing it in, but 75 this morning at 7am, clear skies.  Range time this morning, worked up a sweat.  Putting & Chipping with OnCore Vero X1, impressed with its performance.

Good Morning Motley Crue, and a happy Major Thursday!

All majors get my juices flowing, but I'll be honest Oak Hill in particular makes me smile.  As a native of Upstate/WNY, seeing the area get attention and recognition is so awesome.  I loved growing up there.

Never played Oak Hill, but this tournament makes me excited!  Have a great morning everyone and enjoy the tournament

Morning all!

It’s going to be my first time playing what is arguably one of the best and nicest public courses in Denver this weekend (Common Grounds). I’m by no means a good golfer but as long as I break 100 I’ll count it as a success. It’s the first course I’m playing that has a lot of large fairway bunkers right where I typically hit driver. Any course management advice to help in this situation? If I’m hitting it well I should be able to carry most of them. Issue with laying up is that the par 5s are long enough that if I lay up I’ll still have 300+ yards to go and my 3w is 50/50 either piped down the middle or topped 100 yards

thanks!

Good morning Spies

Had my lesson yesterday. Boy was I messed up!  Too much on my balls, not a nice 6-12 swing, not rotating through!  No wonder the driver wasn't working.  Now I've got lots of homework to put it'll back together! Part of my problem is the "women's anatomy " getting in the way - lol.  Not quiet sure how to get around the girls.  We are going over at this point.  Said it's over, around, or under!  🤣

So lots of practice in my future! Headed out this afternoon with my hubby for 18.  Hoping his ticker doesn't give him issues and we get to finish the round.

Have a wonderful day

Trying to be as tactful as I can. My wife has the same issue. I had her watch Christina Kim swing and then we found this which helped her.

I can understand because my wife has the same problem with the "women's anatomy" plus she is extremely petite at only 4' 11". I have her scheduled next month with an instructor friend of mine who is well known around here and in the past played the LPGA

G'Day ladies and gents!!

Was actually up at Sir Chunks and Big Stu time 'cuz of poochie .. my old guy is gonna be 11 soon; I know it doesn't sound old for a dog (like that 31 y.o. in Portugal!) but for his breed he's past the median... So yeah I indulge him a little (..ok ok a *lot* 😊).

Wife is home today prepping for a long weekend away, so yes of course I had a few extra honeydew tasks this morning 😄 .. so just catching up on a few of my favorites threads...

We may, still undecided, hit the little dimpled spheroids around this afternoon.

Got some bad news about one her friends' younger BIL .. this is the guy we'd adopted the Black Lab from .. so fingers crossed he comes out of this one ok again 🤞

Hope everyone is having a fun and/or productive .. and *healthy* .. day today!! 👍

Update on how I faired with this in actual motion.  Swing got better around hole 7. Was looking pretty good on 9 but hubby's ticker needed a rest. So, we quit after 9, he didn't finish 9.  We're home he's napping.  Can't get in to see his cardiologist until June 23rd - ugh!

Hope the dog gets ok... LOL "Stu Time" that is actually a real thing. When I drove a truck at the recycling company they hired me and let me run my own program. Usually they gave me the list of what needed to be ran. I was ready and left the yard promptly at 4 AM every morning. That was and still is known as "Stu Time". Always told the new drivers if you wannna run with me be there and hit the gate going out WFO at 4 AM
