Yes it is!  Still 1.5 hours before tee off, but it's supposed to be 100º here today so early rounds starting already for summer.  Lots of smoke coming from the 150 fires up in Canada.

Wowza!! Didn’t realize it got so hot that early in WA

It's a little early for 100's but not unheard of.  When you think of OR/WA, don't think of Portland and Seattle.  East of the Cascades we are more like Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Good morning Spies!

Recovering from a very late night of too much fun with friends, waiting for the coffee to brew.  We laughed a ton, and nobody got hurt!  Success.

It’s a beautiful sunny morning in Brown County, IN, our home away from home.  Unfortunately, my good friend’s biggest flaw is that he is not a golfer (ha) so no golf for me today, but a round should be on tap for tomorrow!

Wishing you all fantastic days!

Working at getting better ... and very slowly getting there.

Good morning Spies!

It's a rain all day here.  Granddaughter is still here today.  We had pancakes and bacon today. Found out she doesn't like bacon anymore!  WHO doesn't like bacon?!  The grandsons came over to play while she's here.  So full house today!  Thinking crackpot for dinner - can't decide between making meatballs and spaghetti or chili as the temperature is only 56° as a high.

If you get out play today- take a couple of swings for me!  Enjoy your Saturday.  If you're watching the PGA my daughter is working hole 13!

Good 25 minutes past the hour to MGS, I'm watching the pros and staring at rain out the window. Will I brave the drizzle outside?

Pros: courses will be empty I'll be able to ball test however I want in some inclement conditions. Rain is currently relatively light and it's 60s temperature wise. Total rainfall of .5" shouldn't make courses too soggy around here.

Cons: getting rained on, watching these guys on TV they look miserable but it is warmer here. It being Saturday I'd be paying weekend rate for what might end up a mudfest. Also the weather forecast indicates rain intensifies around 5pm so any 18 hole I play at 2pm or later will get me drenched most likely. 🤔

I'm going to Walter Sobchek it and "finish my coffee" while I think about whether to do a rain inspired Shomer Shabbas (sic)

Added: Just thought of a "Homer Shabbas" and giggled like Butthead.

My dad grew up in Nyssa by the Snake River; my mom grew up in Corvallis.  We made a lot of trips:  Corvallis-Bend-Burns-Vale-Grandma/Grandpa house and back a gain... a long 400 mile trip one-way and never leave Oregon.  I live almost straight north of Burns, but we have the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers joining here, so lots of water.  Not much in Burns!!!

I know it’s not morning… it’s 7:30pm, but I will not be online in the morning; another early tee time.  The sun is still out and it’s 95º with 24% humidity.  Fortunately, tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler… the high will be 84º.  After today I might have to take a sweater with me!!🤣

Good morning, Spies!

Looking forward to my first round in two weeks today, and hoping the time off somehow helps!??!  Unlikely, but one can dream.

We had tomahawk ribeye steaks last evening and dinner outside by the campfire.  It was a glorious spring night, the kind you want to bottle and keep.  I am waking up today grateful for that.

Sending you all best wishes for greet days.

RIT good school.  I hired a “kid” who graduated from RIT years ago.  He eventually took over my job when I retired.  He’s done a great job.

Morning folks! Slow Sunday morning the way we like it.

did something to my knee yesterday so iced and heated it feels much better now.

Whipped up some hash browns with left over potatoes from dinner the other night. Added in some peppers and bacon and SWMBO is doing waffles for the kids….so had to take one of those too.

Good morning spies! I was up way past my bedtime and am just getting going this morning. My coffee is delicious and three animals have finally settled comfortably beside me.

@rkj427, @IndyBonzo I hope y'all play great today and most importantly, have fun on the course.

We have our normal grocery shopping planned for the day and I might head out to the range and hit a small bucket then spend time on the practice green dialing in distance control with the Agera. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might simulate 18 holes putting and do a strokes gained analysis.

@Placasse61, I would love to be waking up to a scene like where you're at, its beautiful. I would love to be dropping a line in that water seeing what I could catch.

@richk9holes, take it easy today and I hope your back gets to feeling better.

I'm going to chill for a bit and try to knock off the brain fog from staying up so late. It was worth it getting to spend time with dear friends talking and laughing.

I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

I love me some bass fishing! Haven't done it in years as I'm a boat snob and don't have a boat. I think we're planning on going sometime this year with friends and bank fish with some friends so their daughter can give fishing a try.

I have never caught a pike, they aren't native to this area but have always wanted to. Those bad boys look mean and get huge!

Even better than the fight and landing of those bad boy pikes is their fantastic taste!  Butter lemons salt and pepper wrap it in foil and throw it on the fire - Yum Yum!
