Nice mild 30 degree morning here in Wisconsin leading to a high of...wait for it...MID 50s!! I saw a facebook post that a golf course in the Madison area, about an hour from where I live, was opening today. Home course won't be opening for I would say at least another three weeks with some large swaths of snow still covering areas that don't see much sun, but we are getting there. Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day as well. The spring program at my son's school was really enjoyable. He goes to a K-8 catholic elementary school, so while the singing isn't always exceptional, the music teacher does a great job with the kids and you can tell they really have fun with it. I am a self admitted sap ever since my boys were born, and there was a song that tugged on my heart strings a little bit yesterday. I may have shamelessly shed a tear. The song was called If This Is The Last Time by LANY. Had never heard of it until yesterday, but something about a gym full of kids singing this song directed at all the parents got me. Linked in the post here if you're an emotional music listener like me Have a great day everyone! Thanks for that. My mom died just before last Christmas. Time spent is so fleeting. That is the truth, and I am sorry to hear that, Bob. I hope that your dad is recovering well. It really is a beautifully written song. You always think you have more time until you don't. We are very fortunate to get to see our parents regularly as my in-laws live about three minutes from us and my parents about 45 minutes away. My mom has been our babysitter for our boys, so I have gotten to see her weekly for the last almost 6 years, and my dad stops over a couple times a week to see the boys as well. I have been trying hard to be more present lately so that I don't miss any moments with my children, but also my parents and in-laws as well. It is amazing how at least in my eyes, my parents haven't aged a bit since I was in high school, even though I know they have. I'd give just about anything to be able to put the brakes on time. Popular Post Triple_Putt
Morning all, last day of the weekend for me. Going to change the oil in the commuter car, get the motorcycle uncovered and put the battery back in, and get the snowblower put away for the year. But first some coffee and eggs to start the day. Hope it’s a great day for everyone sirchunksalot, cksurfdude, ejgaudette and 10 others 13 Quote Super Burner 2.0 10.5* Fly-Z hybrid SMS 4-GW i3 5 Wood SM7 56*,60*, SM8 52* Versa 1 putter 2023 Tested: Edel SMS Irons

This middle of the week has a dentist appointment and Caz Park GC is open today for the one day hole in the weather and will fit nicely between appt and dinnertime. With the real prospect of outdoor golf on 3/22/2023 in Western NY, the hot mug of coffee and its on-deck thermos threesome is a great start to a day with golf in it Coming to you soon! Popular Post ejgaudette
Morning everyone, up early this morning to get some grading done for the class I am teaching. Always feel great when I wake up and get the ball rolling like that for the day. Looking forward to the warm weather today. We tapped out maple tree and the sap is flowing like crazy with the weather. Got probably a gallon alone from yesterday, had to empty it yesterday afternoon and then again this morning. Won't amount to much but it is always fun to make a little of your own.
