That's interesting and helpful, but my counterpoint remains: I can get a L.A.B. putter—more to the point, I have a L.A.B. putter—in which the grip axis and the shaft axis are the same. I think there may be an interesting critique (and there certainly seems to be a difference) in how the balance works in the a L.A.B. with a Press grip. But unless my putter would fail the Revealer test, I can't by the argument on the Maltby page that the zero torque of L.A.B.'s putters is created by or dependent on the Press grip.
