It's afternoon here in the Great Lake State but it's been a busy day so far. Early morning service today then got the yard and Halloween stuff cleaned up/put away. A little downtime now before I go coach the youngest for our first travel basketball game(s) today. Double header tonight and for the next several weekends. Have an awesome day everyone!

Our family did something similar last night! The Michigan Speedway has a Nite Lites display and the week before it’s open to the public they have a 5k walk/run. We took our 3 little kids so ours was definitely a walk, but it was lots of fun! I’m sure you’ll have a blast!

Good morning everyone!

It's another early start to the work week with an added bonus 30 minutes of production. At least I know it won't be like this next Monday since 3rd shift is working Sunday night due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I wouldn't be going in anyways since I have to meet with the surgeon at 9 a.m. 

My body is a bit sore from golf, but it feels so good since it meant I got to play. It's one of the better feelings in the world.

Good morning Spies on a back to work for some of us Monday. Appears to be a warmer week here but cooling off again towards the end of the week. Did get my rounds in this past week, and looking forward to getting the final rounds in next weekend, as the course will be closing for the season.

We have some promising weather on tap this week with temperatures the 60s when I get off work each day. I’m taking clubs to work with me just in case I’ve got time for 9 before dark sets in.

Good Monday morning all!

Had a nice long weekend with the family. Made a bit of a trip Friday to a children's museum, which is like a giant play space with a submarine, castle and other displays they can play with. That plus the playground out front was a hit for the kids, though the car ride not so much. Got out for some small hikes/trail walks to enjoy the nice weather the past couple days which is always enjoyable give the match toward winter that is happening here. Otherwise back to work today as our transition continues to a whole new reporting infrastructure, so as always will be a fun one.

Good morning fellow Spies! This week at the office should be pretty full as employees push to complete everything they can before taking half of next week off for the Thanksgiving holiday. On my golf agenda today is finding a golf related item for my mother-in-law to give me as a gift for Christmas. She has reminded me twice now that I haven’t given her a link to purchase something.  She knows I'm picky about golf gifts so I appreciate her desire to get me something I actually want.

Good morning spies! This is the last full week at school before fall break. The students are starting to get stir crazy and will benefit from time away from school. We have got a busy day today with a full day of teaching followed by basketball officiating. Hoping the day runs smoothly and we all make it a good one!

Good morning MGSpies from a not frosty but it was below 30 before bedtime last night WNY on this Monday zero commute day  computer already online and enabling greatness in the employee finance world  hot coffee making the world perfect regardless of anything else going on.  The Monday Curling report  is not as good as last week, no stones scored as throws were short, long or still inbounds but wide Weather is holding on for the possibility of golf this week in these here parts, also considering what outside jobs can be done in the cool dry sunshine with rain due Thursday overnight.  Hope golf is a part of your day

Currently waiting for my coffee to brew, and then settling in for work. Looks like weather will be a little bipolar this week, 30s in the mornings and high 60s in the afternoons. Hopefully schedule a round for Saturday, but need to talk to my playing partner first.

In other news, I have finished my review of the Sub 70 Sycamore 009 Mini, and spoilers it’s definitely earned it’s spot in the bag. More details, here:

Good morning everyone. Countdown to Thanksgiving break is officially on. Just have to get through Friday in one piece and then I have a full week off to recoup and get myself psyched up for the long 4-week stretch before winter break. I feel confident that if I consume enough coffee I can make it to Friday. Will have to see if we make it all the way there in one piece though. Weather continues to stay warm so there could be some golf on the horizon as well. Keep those fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a great start to their week!

Frosty here, too, and still in the in the mid 30s... But heck yeah the coffee is *hot*!

Big event today is yet another vet trip with old poochie later this morning .. which means straining my lower back again to lift 90 lbs of wiggling fur into and out of the back of my car (SUV) .. he used to be able to easily leap in but yeah that was a few years ago ... thankfully my wife is coming back from school to help me! 

...hmmm I used to be able to lift him up myself.......

Did golf a little yesterday at a fun 18 hole Par 3 - good wedge practice though didn't hit the ball quite as well overall as I'd been hoping to... But hey it was a really nice mid November day!!

Anyway Happy Monday and hope the week starts out well for you!!

Morning all! This weekend I didn't post as I was trying to remain "disconnected" and just relax with my wife and son. I did spend some time in front of the golf net with a changed grip. Looking forward to seeing how it fares later this week and putting those Titleist Tes balls in play. Now work is started, coffee is brewing, and I have one of these delicious cinnamon coffee cakes from Trader Joes right in front of me. Lots of work to do today.

Good morning! It is a brisk 32* in the NE suburbs of Cincinnati today. Heading south on Thursday to Gatlinburg, TN for a few days with the family. Looks like beautiful weather on Friday for 18 at the Gatlinburg golf course. Before that, I must satisfy financial obligations. Three days of work befor3 I disembark 4.5 hours south. The question is: Can I survive a cabin with 5-families and 10-kids? I might have to golf Fri-Sun to make it work.

Howdy;  my spies, from a  “Ground Hog Day” like South Texas. We are seemingly caught, weather wise, in the annual 10 day loop of our definition of autumn; damp, dreary, and a tad cool. A couple of more days of this and I may consider making a few hour drive to run to Louisiana for a Cajun meal and see about getting a webbing transplant for my feet. 
    NO golf today. The “Empress of Economic Stimulus” called and will be flying ( sans broom ) back to the Dark Kingdom today. She was rather proud of the fact that she got free shipping on her freight. The train arrives tomorrow. In other news; “Those People” want me to either earn my pay for a couple days now or later in the week. 
  Hmmm….. Let’s see, stay home to do the bidding of the wife person and be a beast of burden unloading her purchases OR go hide for a couple of days in a sanctuary work location while chaos reigns in Dark Kingdom… Doesn’t seem to be a case on needing to be…

a rocket scientist; more just need to want to be a survivor.

Good Morning! I was up too late last night and that bled into a late morning for me. I’m feeling foggy and hopefully a coffee will treat me right.  Today I have a super busy day at work, but hopefully I’m able to wind down and get to bed at a decent time tonight. My neighbor wasn’t around to get his Garmin R10 set up in the daylight for the White Box testing, so we’ll try this week.

Good morning all..

Reading the threads this morning it sounds like a cold snap has filtered down from my country to yours lol...

On the west coast of BC it is chilly for sure but dry enough to tee it up this morning and looks like the rest of the week will be fairly dry and cool so looking forward to golfing the ball a bit.

There has been posts over the course of my time on this site regarding "golf not being played in a controlled environment" and I am not convinced the importance of this is truly appreciated. 

There are threads on equipment, launch monitors, equipment, grips, shafts, etc etc. Comments on "feel vs mechanics" however guess what, once you have that figured out you have to play golf, and it is outside, and it can be different everyday and sometimes changes as the round progress'. (Unless you are playing at top golf or an indoor game, which will be getting more and more exposure as Tiger, Rory and crew launch their new golf league) 

At our course we are currently playing lift, clean and place due to sloppy conditions and mud balls but I have experienced some "fat" wedge shots as I havent contacted the back of the ball perfectly, caught it heavy and only moved it half distance. 

Plus with the heavy air and cold conditions there is much more calculation involved to get the distances figured out. 

Ahhh... winter golf.... "yes I am jealous of all the citizens of desert communities and snow birds" lol. 

Anyway, my rant for the day...

Happy Monday morning fellow spies! Weekend had some really good parts and some really crappy (literally) parts. First, the good. I was able to get into the woods Saturday morning and while I still have not filled my tag, I saw a ton of deer and it was just a perfect morning to be in nature. Peaceful, serene, sunshine, cool crisp weather, it was just fantastic. My target list of bucks is very short and while I saw probably 6-7 different ones, none were shooters yet and need time to grow. Best part about the large tract of land we hunt is they should survive rifle season. 

Second part of the weekend that was great was family and birthday photos done for our youngest yesterday. He turns 4 in December, and the photos went great (aside from some falls, bumps and bruises and tears. Boys will be boys). One thing I am realizing is that my boys are both getting big way too fast, so when our youngest gets a little bump he comes to me for comfort, and that is going to be fleeting. Taking that in as much as I can.

Now for the bad. The Packers lost, which oh well, at least it makes @chisag happy  and our chances of a better draft pick to shore up the offensive line keep going up .

The next bad, which really does suck, is that when I was cleaning up leaves in the lawn yesterday, there were some very soggy spots on our septic mound  with the slight smell of sewage. HOPING there is just a block or clog somewhere in the laterals, but having someone come out to check on it today. It was not significant wetness, so hopefully nothing serious and can wait until the spring. Either way, it was not something I needed to come up yesterday. 

Back to good, it is supposed to be a really nice week this week here and it is the final week that the country club is open. Planning on getting in a round Thursday with some buddies for my final round of the year, then it's time to clean the clubs up and get ready for an offseason of work to improve!

Not looking forward to the work week but luckily shouldn't be too busy. Prepping a second cup of coffee to keep me going today.

Good Monday Morning Spies! 

Was AWOL from MGS this weekend and early Ranger duties to start Sat & Sun, consumed my weekend. What a learning experience it's been, being a Ranger, LOL! 

Seeing all the cold weather posts this morning, I'm not going to whine about the misty rain & wind we had with a 70 degree temperature which made temps feel cooler at 6:45am tee time.  It was great weather this morning to do one more testing of the Titleist "Test" ball, in truly windy conditions.  I'll sum it up by saying, very impressed with the Titleist Test Ball!!  

Well, on 3rd cup of espresso, working from home today.  Stay warm everyone! Hit'em Straight if you can get out today.  

P.S. @Jnoble89 if it's any consolation, the New York Giants just stink this yr.

Recovering from a very fun weekend here.  Lots of time with friends, and spent a super day yesterday with FABWIFE for our anniversary.  Part of the day involved cleaning out the garage, or starting to, which made her happy and is also one step closer to getting a sim in there sometime soon.  More purging will need to be done first.

There is no golf in my immediate future.  That needs to be fixed!
