Popular Post IndyBonzo
Good morning Spies! I’m off to work early for a very busy day. Looking forward to my first joint golf lesson with my youngest daughter later this evening. After talking with the manufacturer yesterday, it turns out I *did* have everything I needed for the garage sim. Let’s call it my mistake, but they also admitted that they really need to clarify the instructions for my model, which differs significantly from the assembly video. Off to the mines. I hope all have a great day! ZJeb67, Michael.Sandoval33, sirchunksalot and 16 others 15 2 2 Quote Working at getting better ... and very slowly getting there. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
This Tuesday morning is a Monday for those going back to work after Monday’s holiday. Coffee doing its work while I am enjoying a nippy sunrise. Temperature should be in the 70’s for a late morning tee time. Sadly, I must report that the Angry Ancient Agers… make that the Antiquated Ancient Agers went down to defeat to the whippersnappers 3.5 to 1.5 in match play yesterday. On the 16th tee box I was down 2 holes. I told my youthful opponent that it was going to make my heart hurt to have to tell his mother that he had been engaging in elder abuse. I halved the match. We elderly will be staying in our lane today and just settle with having ago at each other on the course this morning. There seems to be new metrics about almost everything these days… I will drop my latest for your leisurely perusal. Have a terrific Tuesday in any an all of your endeavors…. Popular Post William P
Good Tuesday Morning Spies! Starting the day with a good hot cup of coffee and a good sausage biscuit. I will be driving Mrs. D this morning as she has been summoned jury duty. Not all bad though, I'll drop her off and head over to the PGASS to kill the time waiting to hear if she is selected or not. Been looking to swing some of the new clubs available so this presents the perfect opportunity. The weather today will be awesome if the wind will stay down a little. Sitting at 42* now and supposed to reach upper 70's by afternoon. Congratulations to all the Edel testers! looking forward to seeing how these beauties perform. Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning all, Woke up a minute before my alarm, and I'm not sure which is more maddening. waking up a minute before or 5 minutes before. Anyhow, today is my Monday for work. That means I have to get some info for our Industrial Health people who want to come and put these devices on us to see what awesome stuff we may be breathing in while cleaning weapons. We are also having to have noise devices to measure how loud it gets. Not sure why they are doing that now, but it goes in the medical record. I guess it's never to late for that stuff. Popular Post taylorjonasher
Good morning! No workout first thing today as I'm saving it for after my abbreviated day at work. Shop is opened up, bid tabs are getting filled in, and my body is doing a fantastic job of cycling coffee in and out rather quickly. I got my suitcase packed last night and am ready for a couple days of professional development with a decent probability of getting sunburned. Baseball practice went well last night considering that I'm in charge of eleven six year olds. No kids were hit during BP, and the last 10 minutes of our time was dedicated to conditioning, where I ended up getting much sweatier than anticipated having to demonstrate and then race the kids to prove I'm better than them. Popular Post GolfSpy_KFT
Good morning fellow MGS'ers and happy Tuesday! Went to dinner with my father in law last night as my mother in law is still out of town with her sisters. He got some extra attention from the boys, which is always nice as they tend to gravitate towards grandma otherwise (just like mom instead of me ). Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! My short game was maddeningly sporadic yesterday and cost me strokes where I should have been looking at birdies. Didn't win any money in the game but I did claim a skin on a nice 10 foot side hill putt. No golf today, we are picking instead and the oranges just keep getting better as they get riper! Plus they are coming off of the trees easier. We don't need many, maybe a dozen to fill out the weeks worth of citrus. I I hope golf is part of your day! Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning Spies, and welcome to second Monday!! Again not a lot happening other than just normal work stuff. Kinda boring these days now that the big upgrades are done for now. Plus we just went through a bit of an org chart change, and my position has become more operations and less project. Although my boss would prefer me to be more project and less operational. So that's going to be an interesting battle, getting away from the operational stuff that I really don't enjoy/like. I'll just have to work through it for now, until I can get someone more trained up on the technologies I work on to sort of take over that part of the work. Now, if I can get my lazy ass off my desk chair and to the gym at 4pm, then we'll have something good going. Until I can do that 2-3x a week, I'll be right here where I am. Nothing changes, until something changes. And something needs to change for me, no doubt. It was one of those actual gym models that are built like brick s*** houses. So between that my work out and then absolutely WHAILING my knee into the tail gate as I attemped to jump into the bed to help slide it farther in... I am quite sore today. Mostly the knee. Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning all! Feeling much more rested today after going to bed at 9pm last night. @Dead Solid Bogey that picture couldn't have been more spot on. Love an early bedtime nowadays. Excited to see the testers get announced for the Edel putters this morning! I'm sure that will be a great test to follow and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. Was able to get a sim session in last night after work. Swing has been feeling really good lately after focusing on a more connected, compact arm structure throughout. Seeing more consistent strikes and additional yardage I didn't think I had in the bag. Coffee in hand and ready to have a productive day. Have a great Tuesday! Just another normal workday for me, now starting to think about how many I actually have left to go, and how little has been done to find my replacement. A special Happy Birthday wishes to Derek, @EasyPutter Hope your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something fun may be in your plans. maybe you are irreplaceable... Couldn't even bring it home as MA doesn't allow for temp tags. The bureaucracy im this state is nuts... lucky me - I get to go to the RMV today, woo hoo! When we bought our van a few years back we almost went down to Mass to buy it but then heard how hard it would be to do that given the differing registration laws. The dealership near our house ended up getting it up here for us and we bought it from them. Made things so much easier. sirchunksalot, Rob Person, tdroma98 and 5 others 8 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Ventus Blue 6X (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 18° Evenflow Riptide 70g 6.0 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 S | SMS 4-5/SMS Pro 6-PW Steelfiber i95 S (2023 Official Review) Glide 4.0 50°.12°S/54°.14°W/58°.6°T PING Z-Z115 Wedge Flex | SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 Hoofer Bag | Pro V1 | Right Handed | Tracked by V3

Both rounds I've played this month, I walked. And both times I got home I was tighter than the bun on Mother Theresa's head. Lots of stretching and time with the massage gun is on store when get home from work tonight. I'm guessing two nights in a hotel bed didn't help any either. The stretch of warm weather heading our way is going to make it hard to resist the urge to hit the course but I'm gonna listen to my body and stick with SIM golf for a couple more weeks while I get more time on the elliptical to get my body ready for walking 5+ miles again. Hope everyone has a hot cup of coffee ready and a great day ahead. "the bun on Mother Teresa's head" love it.... sirchunksalot, Preeway, Josh Parker and 4 others 7 Quote committed to performance excellence
