GM & Happy Wednesday!  Coffee & cereal with blueberries then off to a 7:44 Tee Time and hopefully beat the thunderstorms.  Playing an 18 where 1st 9 is a bear with lot of water carry’s.  65* & windy, just a normal early FL morning.

Morning everyone. Little one did not sleep great last night so neither did mom or dad. Coffee will be in abundance today with maybe a celcius mixed in (that’s when you know it’s bad). It’s the first league night of the year today so hoping the weather cooperates and warms up as we are sitting at 39° and rain with a high of 51°.

Good morning Spies, the weather is indicating too much moisture for golf today. I need to get a dog walk in between drops. Riley is approaching 14 years-old and the walks are a bit slower these days and he would go for 2 - 3 miles if we let him but with his arthritis, we try to limit it a bit. So, after coffee we will head out.

Not sure I will be posting tomorrow. I will be driving to the office in Rochester to turn in the VOIP phone and company credit card. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work from home. That is a plus of the connected world. As is this forum BTW.  The unmoderated social media, eh not so much.

Yet another long workday yesterday and didn't get home until midnight, but had a nice little present waiting for me: My new 4 dozen Prov1x's for this season!

Just gets me excited to get back out there and play again.  Don't know exactly when that will be at the moment but I'm lucky enough to get my fix through the forums and all of you haha

Good morning fellow spies! Still riding the high of the Cobra announcement yesterday and I stayed up way too late building and rebuilding my bag. My fitting on Saturday cannot come soon enough. Cool and crisp morning here in Wisconsin but the sun is shining and it should get into the upper 50s/maybe low 60s this afternoon. If I can get out of work in time, I might try to sneak up to the range to hit a quick bag of balls. Weather was awful last week so it's been a week and a half since I've been able to do anything other than dry swing work. Would like to get on the range before my fitting, but if not it shouldn't be too big of an issue. Oldest son's birthday is tomorrow, so we will find something fun to do after work and school to celebrate that. On Sunday afternoon, we are having a little birthday party at the bowling alley with family. Hope everyone has a great day!

GM, hope everyone has a great day... even if you're working!  I didn't get out to play a walking 9 yesterday; course was full, so just worked on the range.  I may try again today.  If this keeps up, we may be looking for a different course next year.  

We need another golf course built in the area to take the load off.  It's been 25 years since the last course was built and the population has tripled in that time.  Before COVID I could walk on after 10am and play anytime until leagues started at 3pm.  Now I need to make a tee time a week in advance; I don't know if I want to play the day before, let alone a week before.

Happy hump day, GM thread. No twilight today, a noon tee time means I have to get motivated and moving quicker than usual. Booked a 9 hole course. We'll see how my creaks and cracks, aches and pains are afterward and maybe get a 2nd 9 holes in.

Good morning everyone! Bit of a late start to the day for me but today is one of the few days I have nothing going on after work so I'm gonna relax and try to enjoy the evening. It's supposed to rain for a few days so I'm stuck with living room golf or video game golf only, haha.

Goooooooood morning! I was up and at 'em early and got a quick 9er in at St John's Golf Club here in St Augustine. If you haven't played it before, it's really a hidden gem. Rebuilt, in great shape, great price, and great overall place. It's a municipality course down here, so check it out!

Anyway, took the Paradym D, 3W, Heavenwood, and 4H out there to rip and man do these things fly and are incredibly easy to hit! I had the Rogue ST Max LS driver, and ST Max 3W, 3&4H and would with complete confidence say these Paradyms are just more forgiving and better launching. Absolutely ecstatic with my purchases! My buddy even made comments about the difference and he's a bomber...Check them out if you haven't already....

Sun is shinning this week & golf on Saturday.  Hopefully I can get to the range before then. Baseball is has taken up waaaay to much time. Our commish sent an email out that we have 130+ games with umpires due to shortage. That’s too many games and kids not playing sports.

Well, if I want to play golf today I have to go somewhere other than my course.  Junior tournament.  It's a beautiful day with high about 82º.  I think I will be competing with all the other regulars trying to find a place to play.

Past few days really been dragging; stoopit allergies plus sinus and throat infection .. which seem to be finally fading .. but now my ears are totally stuffed up from the inside... Sheesh the worst part of this is we've had a few really nice actual Spring weather days here and I'm sidelined....

.. tho may go try some putting practice a little later....

On the bright side my lawn is looking its best ever; here's part of the front ...

(..and yes I'm a little behind on trimming and pruning everything...)

Compared to what it was when we moved in, I'm pretty happy with the appearance. And fwiw while not totally organic I've tried to limit the use of chemical fertilizers (Long Island draws its fresh water from underground aquifers).

I play basketball twice a week; probably shouldn't since I'm too old and injuries come more frequently and last longer.

I caught a knee in my upper thigh as I was driving to the basket and it is the most painful deep muscle bruise I've had in some time. Serves me right for going in to the paint. I should just stay outside and shoot where it's safer.

Work is really ramping up, would be a day I would like to golf but not going to happen. Sundays VGA tournament cant come soon enough.

Good morning, Spies!  It's a gorgeous day today in Sin City.  FABWIFE and I love visiting here - for 3-4 days only.  LOL.  No golf today, but planned for both Thursday and Friday.  

@cksurfdude the lawn looks great!

@scotter032 I second your emotion on the Paradym 4H.  It is incredibly easy to hit, and workable.  I was able to hit a gorgeous long fade around a tree on Hole 18 on Sunday that I know I could not have done with my older Titleist hybrid.  Those clubs are magical.

Yeah- those definitely hurt......... IMHO- the paint is the best place to be- but it DOES get a LITTLE bit physical in there (I've survived a broken nose, black eyes and bruised ribs having been in there), but I always admired the shooters from the outside. It's fun to get the rebounds when they miss

good morning all, competitive golf is in full swing for me. 2 man best ball on the weekend then 1st. interclub match yesterday. I am cautiously optomistic with my game currently, really striking the ball nicely and rolled the rock well yesterday, I have another interclub today so "away we go" 

I hope everyone's weather is getting better and golf is just around the corner for all of you...

@scotter032 have to agree with you about St. John's Club being a hidden gem!  Had opportunity to play the course 3yrs ago, my wife I celebrating anniversary in St. Augustine, the course was great!! The greens were awesome & fast, running at 13.  I believe I had played the course a week before they were holding their club championship. Course was in good shape!  Agreed, Great overall place!!
