My Stack sessions are all in my garage now, which is less than ideal, but better than nothing!

Nice. I’m starting my first session tonight. Did my baseline session last week.

I took some time tonight to look through and compare today's driving with rounds from August and June and on average I would say I'm seeing 10-20 yards more distance on the same holes/same course with temperatures around 40º colder. I'll be really interested to see how this translates in spring/summer.

I'm also going to go get a check up with fitter as I've started hitting my driver a lot higher (think my technique has improved throughout Stack-ing) and I might need less loft with my current swing (!).

Apologies if I overlooked this while scanning this thread.

Question for the testers or anyone else using the Stack - there is a ton of talk about driving distances, understandably so, but are users/testers also seeing increases in woods/irons/wedge stock full swings as well? Or is this not really impacting your swing other than driver/off the tee?

I have used super speed and now the stack and I can say that you do see the distance gains throughout the bag. With super speed I gained a consistent 5 mph with the driver and ended up gaining 5 to 7 yards with the irons for free too! It's a nice added bonus to the driver gains. Stack is newer for me but I expect to seem the same thing as speeds increase.

any kind of speed training (Stack, Super Speed, or even just swinging your driver flat-out 20x a session/3 sessions/week) should result in more total speed through the bag, at least for full swings. When I did Super Speed a couple years ago, I saw minimal gains with driver, but pretty significant gains in my irons. My 7i picked up 5 mph clubhead speed!

I would reach out to Sasho if you still aren’t seeing the gains- at the opening call I remember him saying that he does consults for those who aren’t seeing the results.

Nearing the end of of Foundations and seem to have levelled off a bit - I've also been playing golf a fair bit and so have interspersed proper training sessions with driver plus balls priming.

I’d be quite happy with a 10mph increase for myself.

Just finished my second Foundations session. Out of curiosity for those who have finished, have you noticed any new swing flaws from working on swinging harder?

Unfortunately I probably won't know until Spring.  I have to assume there's something in there, don't think I can swing this hard for months without hitting a ball and not expect there to be some growing pains once I'm able to play again.  I'm just hoping I'll be able to get dialed back in relatively soon once the season starts.

My bigger question is if I am going from swinging 105-110 and now (hopefully) swinging 115-120 will I need all new shafts throughout the bag?

IIRC, Fitzpatrick has had to replace his shafts TWICE due to speed training... good problem to have, I suppose

(that being said, most of the long drive guys swing Regular flex shafts)

I have noticed real trouble with the first few swings on the range with finding the center of the face, I mean toe shanks for a few swings, but I was able to get fairly dialed back in relatively quickly.

For me it has honestly bred way better clubhead awareness and I feel like my on-course dispersion has tightened significantly. If I hit one offline now I am honestly a bit surprised.

Good to hear. I feel like some of my swings are a bit over zealous at times as I go for peak speed. It’s early so I’m fairly confident I’ll be able to blend speed and technique by the end of the foundations levels.

My biggest takeaway using Stack is how much my swing comes from my feet for speed, and I feel like it's helped iron out some other not so great swing mechanics for me like hip sway.

100% this. I’ve been working on my weight shift and hip turn over the last 6 months and I believe this regimen will only aid in this work.

For folks who have completed the Foundations program - is session 18 the progress check session, or is the progress check the session after session 18?

Trying to figure out if I need to go somewhere I can swing my driver for session 18.

IRRC, they are one and the same and the progress check happens as part of the final session.

Just finished phase 2 of the 2nd program- full speed spectrum- I’m already back to my ending speed from foundations- but it’s been I’ve been hitting higher one off speeds with the 195g and all the other weights, especially the heavy ones are definitely getting faster.

Closing the loop here - the final progress check is actually not session 18 - it's the session after. They recommend a 3 day break before doing that session. I have a driver fitting tomorrow so will try to post that Sunday if I can get to the range w/ the weather. 

I dropped 2mph of eSpeed in session 18 of foundations, and also felt a mild triceps tweak - fastest 45g set today. Hopefully that won't mess me up for my fitting haha.

I've been stymied by weather as all the driving ranges are closed near me due to snow... Hoping it'll thaw out enough to go on Monday or Tuesday. I basically repeated session 18 of foundations today so as not to lose any progress...

I’m not a fan of the step swings in the Full Speed Spectrum, for some reason it just don’t have the timing down for it. I thought I would like them with my baseball background but I think the blending of the two is too awkward for me

Same. Especially in the final stage of the program when you're using the same weight for Max and then Step. I'm routinely a little slower on step swings than Max swings. I'd have to check, but I don't think that was the case when I was doing SuperSpeed?

Only just finished the first block in phase 2.  It introduced the first max swing set.  Really liked that not having to care about anything other than sending it.

 

baseline has my driver average at 95mph.

Welp, a bit of an underwhelming progress check (it was also 34ºF - so not sure if that factored in). 

 

As others have mentioned, I found it unbelievably hard to limit myself to "Full Swing" efforts when the entire rest of the time I was sending Max effort swings. I also would hazard a guess that I was actually swinging "Max" for my original baseline, as the entirety of the rest of the program showed me steadily increasing in E-Speed. I wish the baseline and progress check both had you swing at Max effort.

I got recommended Neural Drive for my next program, so not sure if that's based solely on my womp womp progress check, or the rest of my program. I guess I'll give that a shot and reset - I've read mixed reports on that one vs Full Speed Spectrum.

After my Foundations, it gave me the option between Neural Drive and Full Speed. I chose Full Speed and it seems to be going better for me than Foundations, but I guess we'll see... should have my Progress Check this weekend.

My neighbor asked me for my referral code (who knows if he buys it), but we both found out yesterday for league this year if our age + league handicap < par total, then we need to play from the blue tees.

previously everyone played from white tees..

talk about fortuitous timing on starting speed training.  Not that moving back a box bothers me.  The course goes from playing at 5698yd on the whites, to a hair over 6090yd from the blues.  Even with my current driving distance I’ve played up to 6400yd just fine.
