Same answer, different day. As we have told you repeatedly, we won’t know if there will be tee times available for the golf only participants until we get closer to the date. I promise, once we know, it will be posted and communicated accordingly.

Yes of course it's still on.  And everyone who has signed up for the stay and play is well informed of everything, a nearly 20 page PM with all the details has taken care of that.

As has said many times, the golf only info if even available, won't come until much closer to the date.

49 days is scary.......I need to learn how to swing a golf club again.  Tried to hit 5 irons today and it was not good    I guess it is a good thing I don't carry a 5 iron in my bag.

I hope I’ll get there.   Felt like I was in a good place after the first few times hitting balls, but yesterday swinging the club felt completely foreign and I had no clue what to do to attempt to fix.

So my clubs are still in the basement, but this weekend I think I'm setting up my car rental to drive down with and hotels for the midway stays on Wednesday and Sunday respectfully. Somewhere near the national harbor in Maryland and then maybe southern PA

Pretty sure that we ALL have been there before @cnosil and may even get lost in our ways again,

but it does come back and the most important part of the trip is the camaraderie

this will be my third (fourth if you count the first MD tirp) )MGS forum outing so I 1000% agree that the trip is about camaraderie.   The frustration is really all about @GolfSpy_APH, I can’t let him beat me.

Discussion in other threads have pointed out that there are a number of testers attending the 2024 MyGolfSpy Forum Meetup at Kingsmill Resort and I think it would be something to add to whatever matrix is being wrangled to keep track of all the characters members who will be attending - adding a column for what product is currently being tested or has already been tested in 2024.  It would probably be overload to include all the products that each overachiever member attending has tested since joining the forum, but if the array of new equipment for this year was to just happen to appear and be showcased at one of the inevitable whole group gatherings, that would be a testament to the service and dedication put forth by the lucky fortunate members present at the meetup.

Hi Berg, I live in south central PA (Gettysburg) - you may not want to drive that far inland from Baltimore, but I can point you to some good courses in Frederick County, MD where I’ve played a lot over the past 18 years, and it’s pretty easy to reconnect to 95 S again from most of them.  Happy to join you for a round at one of them on your way through, too, if it works out.

Dan, thanks for the heads up but I've got my rounds planned on the way down already or else I would! I might be making my base camp in and around Gettysburg on he way back, any must do stuff while I'm in town?

Lots of golf and non-golf related things to do around Gettysburg!  The Gettysburg Battlefield National Military Park Visitor’s Center/Museum is great - finished about 10 years ago, and the best place to start to get a sense of the sequence of events and impact from those three transformative days in July 1863, and you can pick up a copy of the self-guided auto tour from the museum gift shop and drive through the battlefield and town. The Gettysburg National Cemetery where Lincoln made his Gettysburg Address is pretty powerful.  The new Beyond the Battle Museum looks at life in Adams County during the fighting from the townspeople who lived here and cared for soldiers, worked in field hospitals, had their homes raided and their lives turned upside down - voted one of the best new museums in the state/country when it opened.  On the 4th of July weekend there is the Battle of Gettysburg Reenactment across the original three days (makes you appreciate cooling synthetic stretch fabrics), and there’s the Antietam National Battlefield further south and west, due south about 50 minutes is Harper’s Ferry where John Brown and his Abolitionists staged the raid on the arsenal and was captured, and in nearby Charlestown you can visit the house downtown where he was hanged for it, and in the fall there’s the Apple Harvest Festival northwest of Gettysburg… just to name a few

The Links at Gettysburg is a perennial Top 10 course you can play in PA, and a good test.  The two courses at Penn National (Founders and Iron Forge) are about 25 minutes west in Fayetteville, PA, and 45 minutes south into Frederick there are a good list of great courses to play: Whiskey Creek, Maryland National, Musket Ridge, the PB Dye Course, Richlands, Worthington Manor, and believe it or not the City of Frederick municipal course Clustered Spires is a really nice track with interesting holes, usually very good greens and depending on conditions can be testy.

Despite my screen name, im actually in Central Maryland-Howard County and have played all the courses you named many times.  You are correct, Frederick area is quite the under the radar golf destination.  
And Actually Penn National was one of the places i checked and  considered fir this outing.   Who know? Maybe one of the future ones.
