Weird, you went to the Gen 6 “P” irons.

@Wheelieb I was surprised by the #s @Marlin Dave put up; wasn't sure whether it was an older model, different model, whatever.  All I was saying is that WOW 😲 the 0311P Gen 6 is nowhere near that. Aside from that, in the fittings I've done I have gotten an education about static vs. dynamic lofts, which makes sense, and have seen some pretty "retro" lofted clubs launch lower than their stated #s and some pretty strongly lofted clubs launch higher during fittings. Shaft and swing both have a potentially significant impact on what you really get. Let the right hand take over and keep your weight on the backside and one can turn a 6 iron into a 60° wedge.

But that’s not what your reply was stating. That last sentence stating you have no idea where anyone gets a 41 degree PW. And the first sentence saying Yeah…no.  You went into your pxg fitting and your lofts. The way it came off was trying to basically say someone was an idiot for saying they had a 41 degree PW. I’m not upset, nor am I trying to argue. But that is the way it read, at least to me.

Hard PW. Smooth typically can carry to 145. If we’re playing up hill probably go for a really choked down soft 9. Depends on how im swinging that day.

Been playing for about 2 years in total. Winter breaks and a 6month period when I got sick. Starting to feel like myself again and recently played a “okay” round.
I currently have custom fit Cobra LTDx irons/wedges, a Vokey 60(cause my short game has been the best part of my game, and a Maverick 9 deg. Driver. Driving is the worst part of my game so My 4 iron usually takes alot of the long game abuse.

Depending on course conditions I have to admit that my choices come down to a 7 wood or a mortar if I'm on a more rural course and the detonation won't bother the neighbors...

Today was a confusing day for me. My 7w is normally my 150 club at max.  Today it was a 160+ club. My 8i was carrying 145-155. I'm not sure what to think now.  Fluke day?

I can confidently hit my 4 iron 160 yards, so I am guessing my 5 iron would be my 150 yard club. I haven't been out on the course that much to accurately say this is fact

Can I still stereotype if I only type with one hand?

Currently it's 7.  I'm hoping speed training will help get me to a nice, easy 8 by the end of the summer.
When I hit an 8 just perfect, it might get to 145 now, but it's not consistent.

I'll be taking my 8i, which SHOULD rollout right onto the green. It LIKELY is going to result in a piss missile, which, fingers crossed, rolls out right by the green.

I'd consider taking my 7i and swinging easy, which would result in a beautiful shot...right over the green.
