I have not received any shipping information at this time, and based upon the Motocaddy address shown on the order form, I would expect it to be shipped from California and not Pennsylvania. 🤔

I have not received any shipping information via email from any delivery service or Motocaddy at this time.

You should be able to see at least the weight of the item you have coming by USPS.

With the large size of the items being tested during this opportunity, it may be more than one shipment and the weight would be at least 7 pounds based on the weight of the bag chosen.

hey spies - eagerly anticipating the arrival any day now. I actually had a dream last weekend of several boxes being on my front porch and not being there to pick them up. 😬

I used my digital camera (instead of my phone) to take several pics of the terrain on my course but for some reason I cannot find the cord to connect the camera to my PC in order to download the photos. Hopefully soon!

Glad that it made it to Wyoming safe and sound @Erin B 👍

Your set-up looks great and hoping that you get the opportunity to put it into use tomorrow. 😎

Mine is expected to be delivered on Wednesday and i am hoping that it comes early enough so I can get some outdoor pictures.

The weather here turns for the worse after Wednesday through the weekend, so it may be early next week until mine would see the course.

@Erin BI did notice the box marked "umbrella holder," I certainly wouldn't deploy the umbrella in the wind unless you can run real fast...😂

My cart lost its wheels 🤣! Not really, I made a sticker from a picture because I’m not on a golf course and didn’t want to have a living room shot.

For any of the testers, I would love to see how much space it takes up in the trunk of your car. It looks like a small tank! 🙂

I plan to show how it fits into the trunk of a mid-sized car during this testing, as well as a 2 seat sports car.

Actually if you invert the wheels it doesn't appear that it would take any more space than a folding non powered cart like a Clicgear.

Yep, agree. I have a truck so I’ll probably take a picture of it in the back seat area.

Motocaddy M7 Remote Electric Trolley / Motocaddy Pro Series Golf Bag / Accessories Kit Unboxing & Set-Up

Well looked what arrived today, although not too long considering it originated in California.

IMG_5391.jpg.6692ba7003ed1486adc0491a14be987e.jpg

Each item individually packaged and shipped, and I will provide details as I opened them up, and then put the whole package together for use.

First small box contained the accessories Motocaddy provided with these trolleys. Detailed information on each of them installed onto the trolley later in this post.

Accessories Provided to the Testers for the trolleys

Pro Series Bag Unboxing & Comments

The packaging of the box the bag arrived in was very well protected, and the bag itself wrapped in a large plastic bag to keep it clean and free from dirt or damage during shipping.

One thing I noted, and thought was an important fact was the attention to the smallest detail in the packaging of all of the items.

The bag being wrapped in a plastic bag, that was easily untied so if one wanted or need to do so, could put it back in the plastic bag and secure it again.

Even the small items were all packaged in resealable plastic bags, so when not in use or put into storage, they also could be put back in original packaging to keep them free from dirt or debris.

IMG_5393.jpg.2b191afb4879a38f4aacc80042eff66e.jpgIMG_5394.jpg.0a4727d72ddd9d99f7930ff8ae726ff4.jpgIMG_5396.jpg.2df610127120c9a0d5f9305e18e85cf2.jpg

One reason I went with this bag, is you are not supposed to use the Motocaddy in wet weather conditions, and I didn't think getting a waterproof bag was required if I will not use the trolley in heavy rainy conditions.

Bag is 14 way top, appears to be full length dividers.

IMG_5399.jpg.5dcdb9bdf93591991da0e5120b82016b.jpg

Left hand side view.

Note the 2 full size pockets, smaller valuables pocket and umbrella holder slot.

Lower left is a scorecard holder, which may also hold a can or bottle, but it is not insulated.

Premium materials throughout the bag.

IMG_5398.jpg.83cb6fd15fdea2585a8a4af8c41f759c.jpg

Rear facing pockets when mounted on a cart or trolley.

3 large pockets. Ball pocket on the bottom, large sized middle pocket for tees, gloves, etc. whatever one would like to store there. Top pocket fits a rangefinder or could be used for additional storage if one doesn't use a rangefinder. Very top feature is a cart pass through strap, and protects the upper area of the bag from any cart strap rubbing.

IMG_5400.jpg.dfba601a34397c802294a09782a1b555.jpg

Right hand side of the bag has a pencil or pen holder, an insulated small beverage holder, and on this side is a tube which also could be used for putter storage if one decides to utilize that feature.

Bottom of the bag, and Motocaddy "Locking Pin" features.

The pins screw into the bottom of the bag, and fit into slots or locking locations on the lower stand/base of the trolley.

I noticed that the bottom of the bag also has some "cutouts" which also fit directly over the lower stand/base, so even without the pins installed there is minimal twisting of the bag on the base when only secured by the top strap.

@Northern Monkey I know that both my Ghost Bag and Sun Moutain Bag do not have this "cut-out" section on the bottoms but they would fit onto the stand/base of the trolley.

I will need to measure the length of the pins, and then the depth of the bottom of those bags to see if they may be retained on the trolley using the Motocaddy set-up. Can do that later and will report out my findings.

Motocaddy M7 Remote Trolley Unboxing & Comments

IMG_5415.jpg.4f1995c572135fcb76eceff33f877388.jpg

Only concern I had initially was a broken "handle" on the box, but knowing that it was bulky and heavy, and handled by many during transport, not an unusual thing based on previous experience with shipping items for work.

IMG_5414.jpg.8d4619ea5b844941142c6333c4d6b576.jpg

Again, packaging very robust to ensure product protection during transport.

And a friendly reminder to "Read the Directions" to ease both assembly and use.

IMG_5416.jpg.86569f54bd6857f1987b429db4d18ad9.jpgIMG_5419.jpg.0a858c32440981f726952cf709d2280f.jpgIMG_5420.jpg.b6d8179829cf9e2c039e1abc0d4796dc.jpgIMG_5417.jpg.18d0da68657150c3ad7057304f18da7e.jpg

The layout of the packaging in the large box is the trolley across the center and left hand side. Wheels in the center around the trolley, and the upper right corner is the "wheelie wheel" and the lower right corner contains the instruction manual, remote, and lower bag retaining straps. The battery and charger were in the box in the right center of the big box.

Battery - more details later.

Initial instructions - thought these were worth sharing if anyone would be considering getting one of these.

Trolley Assembly & Set-Up

IMG_5423.jpg.9422643fbe05a1cd516f73a9dbb363b5.jpg

I am showing the INVERTED wheel position below first, for either storage or transportation, as it reduces the width of the trolley.

Second picture shows proper installation for using the trolley.

Third picture shows my thumb pushing down on a tab on the wheel to ensure they go onto the spindle and then lock into place when installed.

IMG_5428.jpg.c8f6be197f803479b7d53d24afdae221.jpg

Note the gray/silver colored lever towards the front of the trolley, loosening this lever allows you to move the top portion of the handle into the up position.

IMG_5434.jpg.616754448cf45aa0371947aa4280059a.jpg

Next step is to install the "Wheelie Wheel" and this picture shows all wheels in proper position for use.

Note the gray/silver colored horseshoe shaped lever in this picture, loosening this lever allows you to raise the lower handle into the up position, so then the trolley will be erect and upright.IMG_5444.jpg.6d3597e4e5699882f8c265cb9fbb93cd.jpgIMG_5447.jpg.dcc5d937b884532500fcf89c78a0346d.jpg

This picture shows the lower base/stand and the locating holes for the Motocaddy Easilock pins to fit into. This allows one to use the Motocaddy bag without any lower retaining strap and no movement of the bag on the trolley.

IMG_5453.jpg.c56189b7d28908d4de247af85c54c8bb.jpg

Battery Installation

IMG_5454.jpg.e2f81e6879f9e36773aecc5390016fa6.jpgIMG_5455.jpg.0a75dba062430d1c51deb2acbb6cba53.jpg

Note there is a "slot" in the lower area of the battery, and also a "wall" in the base of the trolley this slot fits over to ensure proper installation.

IMG_5456.jpg.e672410ef0448bdd2c468fee2df83e4c.jpgIMG_5459.jpg.3215a66c4799a476abeb2600187a579a.jpg

Connect the plug from the battery to the outlet for the motor and the trolley is ready to function.

Next step place cart on trolley and secure with upper retaining strap. One feature I noticed and liked, it that there is a nylon strap around the elastic strap so you can use that to pull it without any worries of potentially getting your hand or fingers pinched.

IMG_5462.jpg.86df94a6af2f8b6232852b28d19620e9.jpg

Accessories Installation

IMG_5463.jpg.8cd5ca972f92ef2495e7f9c4afe957f7.jpgIMG_5464.jpg.b39139fa77216dddc7d0795f6a087668.jpg

The accessories provided all mount to this bracket which comes on the trolley.

One feature that stood out for again showing attention to detail is that there were serrations on both the bracket and the accessory mounting interface to ensure they stayed intact and in the position you set them in initially.

IMG_5465.jpg.67e3f1f8569ed7803cacc04e4b5df1ed.jpgIMG_5468.jpg.b0fc286822a4eaae00970b757c039e40.jpgIMG_5469.jpg.eea95b02d869e8d0d818b49aa7e370f4.jpgIMG_5470.jpg.b1d6b2200a6e816b1eec8c4e346436cf.jpg

IMG_5471.jpg.1dd7647d0dd66435859a7fc0a3028aaa.jpg

The large drink holder has a slot molded into it, and it fits over a molded "button" on the knob which attaches the umbrella holder to the trolley.

IMG_5474.jpg.c21fa6c23a63be82a86fb83850d6f070.jpgIMG_5476.jpg.f1e5a492916c853379e2ddc1e7c3df32.jpg

This comes in 2 pieces with directions. One thing to note is this is a ball and socket type joint, and feel free to loosen the knob as much as needed to allow the ball to fit into the opening before tightening it back up to secure the pieces together.

IMG_5477.jpg.30a052107a1a879639a1cf30c79537e2.jpg

This accessory will hold your cellphone in the horizontal position. It mounts to the trolley's accessory bracket, but you need to remove a blank piece initially installed by pushing down on the retainer and moving the piece towards the handle to remove, and installation is in reverse order.

Fully Assembled - Ready to Go - Charging Battery

Hope this provides some answers to initial questions some may have about these products and hoping that the weather here isn't as bad as the forecast for the next 3 or 4 days is, so I can get some pictures and video of it in action.

If the weather is too poor to play, I will do some more looking into can the Easilock Pins be used on other bags, and how does it all fit into a vehicle's trunk for transport back and forth to a course.

Feel free to fire away with any questions of concerns!

@GolfSpy SAM I purchased a Joby Gorillapod and phone/camera mount so I am hoping to get some cool video shots of it in action.

Accessories Installation

The accessories provided all mount to this bracket which comes on the trolley.

One feature that stood out for again showing attention to detail is that there were serrations on both the bracket and the accessory mounting interface to ensure they stayed intact and in the position you set them in initially.

The large drink holder has a slot molded into it, and it fits over a molded "button" on the knob which attaches the umbrella holder to the trolley.

This comes in 2 pieces with directions. One thing to note is this is a ball and socket type joint, and feel free to loosen the knob as much as needed to allow the ball to fit into the opening before tightening it back up to secure the pieces together.

This accessory will hold your cellphone in the horizontal position. It mounts to the trolley's accessory bracket, but you need to remove a blank piece initially installed by pushing down on the retainer and moving the piece towards the handle to remove, and installation is in reverse order.

@rkj427 great pics!!! Looks like a beautiful day for it too; I’m jealous 😪. I found it interesting that yours came with instructions, mine with a QR code. At any rate she looks good. My Ask Echo bag has the slots and cut outs for the quick disconnect system. I thought that was cool of Ask Echo. Can’t wait to compare notes during testing. @StrokerAce any updates on your arrival? How’s your spousal unit doing? G*D bless you and yours! Spies, I updated my review post with some first impression data. The link is in my signature for easy access. Happy Birdie Hunting!!!

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.
