If I'm not trying to hit a specific shot shape I want to see something relatively straight or a slight fade and the days where I have the fade working are by far my best days off the tee. However I was struggling with a hook a few months ago because I was shutting the face in my takeaway and keeping it shut. It's gotten much better however those large misses to the left still show up every now and then and usually what follows is a few open club faces to the right producing a slice on a neutral path.

Out of 20 shots only 2 shots you could make the argument that the path got away from me relative to how neutral it was the prior ones. Something to see if the AutoFlex Dream 7 gives me more control over the clubface while not effecting path because if that is the case we will be in business.

Stuck in MO?  That's a shame.    Can't see why UPS would do that to you.  I still hope I see it out West first!   

My Intro is up.  Having some edits / attachment issues, but its up.  BTW, my Dog is more popular on the Forum based on likes than I am, so his pic is well deserved!

After a 3 day unexplained stop in Earth City, MO... my Dream 7 shaft has finally started moving again.  UPS, you're killing me over here!!!!!!

On the plus side, Ottawa isn't forecast to get 25cm of snow like parts of Southern Alberta!

Congrats... my Friday delivery is looking 50/50... especially if there's another 'delay' along the way.  But it's now in Decatur, IL... so closer and closer!

Mine is scheduled to arrive on Thursday.  It left Colorado early this morning and should pass through town here tonight on it’s way to Spokane 150 miles away, where it will sit until tomorrow; then it will come back here, but too late to be delivered… so Thursday it is… maybe… after all it is UPS!

That means it drove right past me! I missed my chance! 

My guess is they are really driving it most or all of the way. Otherwise they may have had it at their biggest US hub in Louisville, KY. My work ships stuff to Toronto with UPS, overnight, pretty regularly and it goes on a plane from St. Louis to Louisville and then to Toronto area. But who knows, maybe it will go to Chicago and fly out of there.

But the 3 days of no movement makes no sense considering how much they have going between Earth City/St. Louis and Chicago every day.

... I am old school. My Autoflex Dream 7 will get here when it gets here.   In the meantime my Ventus Red Velo knows what's coming and on the 247yd par 4 over water yesterday hit a drive 10 yds over the green. So it has a few more days to state its case before the new guy arrives.

Got the official shipping notification yesterday as well as an expected delivery date this morning. Shaft is expected to be delivered on Wednesday and I already have a Saturday tee time set for 10:40 in the morning! Can't wait to absolutely grip it an rip it on the course!

Also I will be testing the 505X for the speedy members of this forum.

Loved the 505x when my fitter put it in my gamer driver just to try out for fun. Obviously she was doing it so I would buy one, but I was waiting for the new driver heads to come out at the time. Maybe I'll treat myself for father's day

Well, the shaft spent 26 hours at UPS in Salt Lake City, but it’s on the move again!!

Tried to get to this earlier today but got a little caught up and the day got away from me but the Dream 7 has arrived! I have it all specked out at D2 and trimmed from 46 3/4in to 46 1/8in in length with a Golf Pride CPX grip. We are ready for our fitting tomorrow and more photos will surface in the first impressions but for now hers a bit of a sneak peak.

What's Next??
Dropping the shaft off tomorrow morning to get gripped, going with a Lamkin Sonar+ Blackout in standard. Should have the shaft back by Friday to get some practice in before I meet with my fitter on Saturday to get things dialed in, and then also getting out to play on Sunday. Should hopefully have some first impressions to share and will share more details about my current driver setup/what we land on in the fitting Saturday.

Update on my end... the shaft has arrived in Ottawa, and is on the truck for delivery by end of day today!  Depending on when it arrives, will head out to get it gripped (GolfPride CP2 Jumbo) and have the swing weight set according to Autoflex's guide (D0-D2). I will 100% not be checking the front door every 15 minutes today

Dropped the autoFlex off this morning and hopped on the sim some to get some numbers with my current setup. Currently playing with a Callaway Rogue ST Max LS 10.5° head and a TENSEI AV White 65g Stiff shaft (trimmed to 44.5"). Not having a good swing day, not enough coffee, or a combination of the two left me with some middling results.

Averaging 95mph swing speed, but my efficiency is pretty terrible only averaging 197yd total with 1.29 smash factor. A lot of that has to do with hitting off the heel (also why the spin is so high), but I'm working on zeroing out my club path to hopefully find the center of the face more. While I have my good days where I am seeing more like ~250yd totals, this is pretty indicative of my average experience with my current setup as my Trackman driving average is only 209yds. After 10 or so swings I seem to get diminishing returns as I start to get tired with the 65g stiff shaft.

I have the same head here with a HZRDUS Smoke Yellow shaft that's at 46 1/8". That's way too long for me and I'm finding that heel a LOT, like you're saying. I'm looking to chop it down to 45" and retest before going shorter. I love my 2w & 3w at that shorter length and am thinking that shorter length is going to really help me make more centered contact. I'll be curious to see how the AF helps you, if it does.
