Best options around Carlsbad CA

I'm going on my yearly trip back to California and am planning to visit my uncle who introduced me to the game of golf. I would however, take him somewhere nice this time as he is always trying to take me to nice places. Last year we played Torrey Pines South which set the bar really high I think. 

 

Does anybody know of any really good options around the area?

Yes, you set the bar pretty high. KCLeo12 is in San Diego and several courses were mentioned in his Hello from San Diego thread. Pricey good is Barona Creek out east of SD. North of SD up outside Temecula is Cross Creek, less expensive but a nice Arthur Hills track. Those are the only ones that I am familiar with. You could always go back to Torrey!

Only place I've been there was La Costa. Had an awesome time!

Wow Kenny B Barona looks nice, I will surely look into it. I also heard really good things from The Crossings. Like you said, I could "ALWAYS" go back to Torrey.
