@Javs - That smoke looks awesome! Glad it's going well for you! Was the denali shaft spinning too much compared to the yellow? Or why do you think the 30+yd distance loss?

@Marlin Dave - That was an unreal find! I just hit the atmos 6s shaft over the weekend on a friend's Rogue ST Max LS and was loving the feel! Can't believe you got all that for $100 at a flea market! I like the green/white GP MCC grip you went with too!

@JakeSmith2316 - Love the look of the black KBS shaft/Cobra king hybrid! Glad to hear you got the last piece of your custom fit bag! Enjoy!

My purchase is peanuts compared to most I've seen on this thread recently, but I was talking to a guy on the range over the weekend and he had 4 JumboMax STR8 grips that were new and he wanted a different size. So I bought them from him for $30 since they were in my size. I've never tried the STR8, but I'm a big fan of the JumboMax tour series. I'm planning to put them on my Dr, 3w, 5w & maybe 4hy.

As a big fan of putters I tend to go to my local play it again every couple weeks to see if they have anything interesting. This time I found a brand new PXG Gen5 0311 Hybrid with a Ventus Blue Velocore shaft for 120 bucks. I had been looking to consolidate my 2 hybrids into one and this fit the bill perfectly so I trade them both in and ended up pay 20 bucks for it.

So my course's pro shop credit ends in March of each year. Last year was a decent year for me so I had a good bit to spend. I recently was fitted and ordered a new Scotty Cameron Newport Plus. I have really been struggling with putting lately. Which is typically the strongest part of my game. Anyways. I got a new putter and its sitting in my office! haha! I haven't put it in the bag quite yet. Obviously as soon as I had the putter ordered, my current gamer (Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5) started making everything. Not changing until I need to haha.

I've always been a BIG fan of Cobra clubs - ever since doing the first ever 'Cobra challenge' (I still have the driver head!) - and it might have been a Cobra sweep if I could have found the right club but I'm pleased with the TM.

I mean that's strictly from description with it being a low launch low spin offering but as well know the description is just that. I had tested into the Fuji Atmos Black which these "special editions" are.  It worked well for me five years ago and I would assume will again but until I get the adapter put on and get it to the SIM I won't know

Thanks!! It was definitely quite the suprise and either the seller had no clue what he had or he was the most generous guy ever!! I saw these exact shafts on EBAY for I believe 210 or some insane number???

I’ve been interested in the jumbomax. Switched recently to a midsize grip with 2 bottom wraps (previously midsize with no additional wraps). I might grab 2 and throw on on a fairway wood and the other on a iron just to try out

Today I played with the yellow shaft. Decent flight and kept the ball in position all day. Hit some bombs and worked it both ways. One was a 322 yard bomb into the wind on the par 5 number nine. Left me with only 169 to the hole. Took it over the ravine and trees into the middle of the fairway. I think I found the set up!

I have several pairs and they are GREAT!!   Comfortable and very lightweight.

I’ve never used the STR8 before, which seems like it simulates having more wraps on the bottom. I’ve used jumbo max tour series on my driver and woods and really like them. I use size XS and they are a little bigger than midsize grips that I use on my irons.

322 into wind must have been absolutely mashed! Sounds like a nice setup to me! Do you use the yellow for your FW woods also?

It was one of the hardest drives I have hit. Especially because of everything I hit it over. Apparently one of our guys from our group was behind a tree around the bend. We couldn’t see him from the tee. He told me later it was still climbing went it flew over him. I was apologizing and said I didn’t know he was there. He said don’t worry it was a monster and wasn’t going to hit me. Yes, I use an xstiff yellow in my 3 wood. I use blacks in my hybrids.

I'm not one for super fancy head covers. Especially when the cover costs more than the club it's covering. 

However.. while perusing the local Offer Up, I happened to spot this nugget among a bundle of about 20 new random head covers in a selling photo. 

$20!! 

Now the question is, do I actually use it? Or do I flip it for a hefty profit to fund other club purchases?  I know these SWAG covers are way more hype than they're worth. But.. there is a market, and they aren't cheap.

Hefty profit?? Are they expensive??? Not familiar with them
