Tiger “sneaks” in the top 50, on the nose.... considering he was what 999th at the beginning of the year, to top 50. He ain't done yet.

Shame to see his results on the back 9 today. I had high hopes.

I am willing to say if he can get his mind right, he could be better than the 2000 Tiger. Better might not mean winning a lot, but more consistent definitely.

 

Just think a year ago he was so injured that he couldn't move. Now he is in contention at a major?

 

It's Tiger Woods we are talking about, not Joe Pro.

 

Just my thoughts. They are probably way off, but I'm staying optimistic.

Tiger is back!! He may not be the Tiger of years past but he's still good enough to be in the conversation.

Really want to get back to the course. I feel like my game is really coming together in the past few weeks. Still some bad big number holes but they bad shots are coming less often. Shot game has really improved over the past few months

 

Now I just need the rain to go away.

Same here......we had about 3” last night. The courses are not extremely sloppy if you can play cart path only.

Yup, 3” rain last 24 hours. Cart path only and for 4 guys early 70's wears you out. Some holes standing water and NO ROLL that's a killer for seniors.

There are days when she'll record a movie on TV, and she'll watch it 4 times in a row. Not because she really likes the movie, but when she finishes watching it, she doesn't remember that she watched it or even what it was.

 

Dimentia sucks my friends. Totally sucks. You have a human being in the flesh that has no memory of anything, and is completely worthless for anything but breathing oxygen. Pfft, maybe I should have posted this in the rant thread.

Ok ok. Today I was trying to put in a little wedge practice and I kept getting cut off. People moving right in front of me across the green that were terrible. I gave up anyways because of all the fertilizer on the green. It was like glue.

 

Anyways. I really need to become a PGA teaching pro so I can charge these people an arm and a leg for me to teach them my favorite part of the game.

 

I think I could actually help these people, but not being credentialed I wouldn't want to offer lessons.

 

I am specifically talking the wedge game, do you have to be a pro to offer lessons?

My electric bill has been low this summer because it's been fairly mild, not hot like usual.  That ended this week.  Today starts a run of two weeks over 100*, so it will be back to normal in August.

I don't have AC or anything. The only thing that uses a lot of electricity is my water heater. But to be $150 cheaper than a year ago? Something seems fishy. I am not complaining, especially if this is true for winter.

 

But I am guessing they messed up the reading. I haven't used under 1000KW since we bought the house, said I used 465 for June...

I used to love going to downtown Seattle for the good food and views of the Puget Sound.

However, it's tough to do anymore with the insane amount of homeless people. We went down last weekend for brunch and in the three blocks we walked, we saw easily a half dozen homeless people injecting drugs of some sort in plain view on their sidewalk benches, cardboard, tents, etc.

 

it's a damn shame.

He's not selling crap* (it does look like he was hawking for Odyssey a while ago but I hope he cut that out)

He's not a trick shot artist.

 

He's a regular guy that learned to play when he was around 18 and walked on to the San Diego State golf team.

He's a pretty good golfer.

He's a do-it-yourself kinda guy.

Some of his videos are funny as hell.

He's got chickens in his backyard, his dog running through some of the videos.

His neighbor teaches trapeze and has this huge swing.

His videos are pretty short 5-6 minutes.

Did I say that he can be a funny bastard?

Nowhere yet. I'm in a weird area, that takes a while to sell. A little early, but we would just be moving down the street to rent till we move next year.

I'm having severe golf withdrawals! The stitches in my finger come out in two more days and the fiancé is out of town all weekend.

 

I cannot wait to finally swing a club again! Going to have to make up for time lost.
