KCLeo12 1,783
You can't peacock down the fairway after striping one or sticking one close when you have to get into a cart right away. Hilarious!!!! That commercial is still my favorite "are you peacocking me right now?" 1 Quote Ping G410 LST 10.5 set -1* Flat Accra TZ5 65 M5 Callaway Epic Flash 15* set -1 Aldila ATX Blue 75TX Ben Hogan FT Worth Hi 19* KBS Tour V X Ben Hogan PTX Pro 4-P KBS Tour V X 2* Flat 4* loft increments Hogan Equalizer 50* KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 X 2* Flat Hogan Equalizer 56* KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 2* Flat Hogan Equalizer 62* KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 2* Flat EVNROLL ER7 P2 Aware Tour Scotty Cameron Newport2 Buttonback P2 Aware Tour Grip Snell MTB-X

Bags 315
I always walk... before this year, I walked and carried... Now I almost feel like a cheat as I have purchased a push cart having some scoliosis problems. But riding? That'd really feel like golf is no longer a sport.carried my bag until 40 lower lumbar was talking to me bought push cart best $200 bucks I ever spent Bags
Murv 8
I have walked for the 11 years I've been retired. Use power walk behind carts. Just picked up a slightly used Kangaroo w/remote control. Makes the hills and soft turf days so much easier. Plus being able to swing both arms makes walking even easier. fozcycle 11,878
My plan was to retire and get a remote electric cart so I could walk a couple times a week. However, the ligaments on my left ankle said no. I can walk if it's flat or uphill, but the downhill slants cause pain and my ankle gives out. Golfspy_CG2 25,394
Have you guys seen thd robo Caddie or something like that. I'm on mobile and can't search easily to find a link. It's like your remote carts without a remote. You just attach a small sensor on the back of your belt and it follows a few yards behind you ans when you stop moving it stops. I'm pretty sure it will be at the PGA Show. I'll check into it and see if I can get some video. Kegger 449
I do enjoy walking, but I can only get comfortably around the flat courses or courses with minimal elevation changes when I'm using a push cart. I walked a hilly course (Poppy Hills for those of you who know it) the other week and started to lose my legs around hole 13. This caused me to start spraying my shots and I double bogeyed my way in to the clubhouse... I'm going to make an effort to get out and walk more courses this year, and maybe, after some "training", I'll give the legs another shot at Poppy Hills later in the year. 2 Quote In the Sun Mountain 4.5LS 14-way bag: Driver: M2 10.5° :: Fujikura ATMOS Tour Spec 6X Blue Fairway: M5 19° :: Fujikura ATMOS Tour Spec 7X Blue Hybrid: TS2 21° :: Mitsubishi Black 80G50 Irons: P790 (5-AW) :: KBS Tour 110 Sand Wedge: CBX-2 54° :: KBS Tour 110 Lob Wedge: RTX-3 58° :: TT Dynamic Gold Putter: Metal-X Milled #2 Ball: Tour B RXS
Charli 913
Big fan of walking. I get way more Satisfaction out of a round walking vs riding. Plus the wife gives me dirty looks when I don't walk. Like I'm a lazy pos

ddryan 1,213
Big fan of walking- and almost always do. My home course is great (no great distances between greens to next tee, as some newer and resort courses have), and while there are some significant hills and valleys, they are gradual enough so it is not a mountain goat course! Getting ready for a week golf trip where carts are mandatory- and that is ok, as we will be playing 36 a day, but I still walk quite a bit- it allows me to slow down and maintain a tempo- vice jumping out of the cart, flailing at the ball and jumping back in and chasing the ball to the next spot... I need to keep a good tempo and stay in the moment-as it were- to successfully strike the ball and get it somewhere near my aiming point. 2 Quote What's in the bag?
