Thanks guys - we have a couple of significant follow up appointments today and tomorrow. I will post an update then. I pray it's an all clear update because she continues to remain stable. She needs to get back on her old med though as she's in a lot of pain.

Penny woke up in a delirium again though not as severe as the last one. She is on a heavy duty antibiotic and will have a series of IV blood plasma drops for the next six months. She was doing AP English lit yesterday and was on pace to finish all of her summer homework. Now there is no way that she will be able to start school in two weeks.

But please there is no way that anyone should feel obligated. The number on that page is just the tip of the iceberg. I've served three very generous congregations and am a fairly known veteran pastor in my church body. We have been very blessed and surpassed the goal stated on that page by a bit. Good thing because there have been two hospitalizations since the page was first set up.

In a true miracle Penny started school on Thursday and we were able to celebrate her Sweet 26 last night. She even had a couple of friends over.

 

She starts a series of IV injections this Weds. If we can get her to that day without another episode we may be past this.

 

Thanks for everyone's thoughts, prayers and concerns.
