Will Tiger Choke?

Tiger is off to a hot start...so what do you think...will it be a one round wonder?

Now that his drama is about over... we'll just have to wait and see. That may be such a weight off his mind that he will be able to get back to being TW instead of a guy who can't keep his mind on what hes doing.

I would be surprised to see him "choke", which I take to mean succumbing to pressure and not being able to perform.

 

Tiger has been there and won too many times for that to be likely, in the past, in fact, he's been pretty much unbeatable with a lead.

 

I do think its quite possible that his game is too inconsistent to maintain a high level through 4 rounds of golf. So it wouldn't surprise me to see him go shoot +2 tomorrow, but I don't know that I would consider that choking.

I think now that his divorce is final his head is clear and I think he will be back to form. Now he can get back to full on sex addict mode and not have to worry about it.

Choke? I haven't ever seen Tiger choke unless you want to call his loss at the 2009 PGA when having the lead after the 3rd round choking. It's way too early for this event to call anything choking and he's tied with Vaughn Taylor at the present time early in first round. Maybe the choking should be written about PM he's had what 15-20 chances this season alone to take over the #1 spot and just can't seem to get it done.

I was talking to someone about this and when he heard that Tiger was winning today he says, in a totally serious voice, "wow, Tiger got laid last night."

I don't know if he'll win- I'm not a fan, so I hope not- but I do know this: the Tiger-lovers (like Charlie Raymer and Rex Hoggard at the Golf Channel and David Feherety are all salivating right now, ready for the "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" moment they've longed for if he happens to pull this off.
