Thank you.  It was a course in Scottsdale after my school.  Wish I could remember the name...kept the score card but it's not handy right now.

Wanted to update that I did attend Martin Chuck's golf academy in Phoenix and believe me it was awesome.  He and his team have a fabulous 3 days of instruction and play format that covers all aspects of the game.  The total number of students is limited to 12, and there are 4 instructors per group that rotate the skills and teaching to make sure all students are given lots of "eyes" on their swing.  Martin is hands-on and involved in all aspects.  He rotates and watches, he uses his iPad and records our lesson and I have an ongoing set of videos and instruction dedicated to me for the rest of my life.  Happy to report that my first round after the golf school was a 79.  I hadn't broken 80 for a looooong time.  I'm back in Seattle, and our weather is a bit damp to get out much, but I'm working daily on my swing and game via my Sprorina golf net that's set in my living room!  Yea, I know, I'm addicted.

Welcome and Congratulations on the 79!  Make sure you keep practicing what you learned at the school.  Too easy for our muscle memory to forget the right way to swing the club!

yes, I had to change my grip...from one being too strong to one more neutral.  It's very challenging...and truth be told, I've met the challenge half way.  It's not as strong as it use to be but not as neutral as it should.  I'm walking around with a club in my hand all the time to help me make it more natural.

I did manage a huge swing change/grip issue from my school and though it sounds simple, it was subconsciously a determent to my consistency...and that was regripping prior to takeaway.  I hadn't realized that I was doing this and it set the club on a bad inside path.  From that simple change, my drives have come back around.  My takeaway stays on a better path and my club face is no longer shut at the top!  Big difference, small but important change.

It's always the small changes that can sometimes make the biggest difference in our games!
