So using 68.7 and 123... your index calculates at 12.

Ok. It’s taken me a day to get over giving away my mstch in the league playoffs yesterday.  I won’t go into details that’s another thread.   Let me know if I’m not posting this correct.  But since I’m sure it’ll be last place I don’t think anyone is going to argue.  Ha

Was going to post my earlier round, but it came nowhere close. I knew it wasn't great, but counted it up today finally.

My local course Otelfingen which i posted for last week (81) and this time around was 89 with 1 net birdies. A whopping 3 fairways hit haha and 2 greens in reg. However did have 32 putts and because arccos was on the fritz I didn't get any driving data.

Course was drenched so glad I got the second round in later. 

I will break 80 there someday, but simply just need to find more fairways.

My first round to post for the week - played in my club Saturday MGA event.  I had a really solid round, except for 2 swings. with the driver.  Both ending up in the water and along with a penalty stroke, the appropriate drop was a distance penalty as well.  Other than those two holes... I was 1 under on the other 16.  

So:

Course: Willow Fork CC - Par 72

Course Handicap:  5

Gross Score: 76  / Net Score: 71

Net score to par: -1 (1 under)

Net Birdies+:  6

Longest Drive:  264

It was a round of "what could have been" and included:

• A splash shot with one foot and the ball half submersed in a greenside pond (First shotgun hole of the day, wore a portion of the pond bank all over me all day, but managed to get it on the green and save a bogey - hole #7).
• A left handed swing after being stymied by a tree from the right side - kicked it back into the fairway with an upside down 8 iron, and made a good up and down from the greenside bunker to save bogey (last shotgun hole of the day - #6).  
• An approach shot out of an un-sanded divot to 2 feet (Birdie on #4)
• A chip that lipped the hole twice, but managed to stay out (up hill right to left breaker, that lipped the right edge around 1/2 the hole, then tried to drop in on the left side but gathered speed around the lip, sending it back at me... tapped in the 1 foot putt back up the hill for a par - #9).

Really got into a good rhythm, think transition at the top was the issue on the front 9. Slowed it down and the game became easier.

Played Columbia Point GC today with my wife and a single Bryan that we have played with a few times.  My Index is 8.9 and my Course Handicap is 4 from the White tees.  Shot 41/35 = 76 with a birdie on the par 3 #12; net birdie on the par 4 #10 and a net eagle on the par 3 #15.  Net Score = 72.

Made a bunch of long par-saving putts that offset a not-very-good iron day.

This is the way my wife keeps score; easier to add up than big numbers like 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

And @Siamese Moose has the Longest Drive posted so far with a towering 281 yards at the Walden Ponds course.  

We have 12 rounds posted so far - looking forward to the end of weekend posts to see who will wear the MGS Forum Black Jacket for the upcoming week.

Just finished my final round for the week.  The proverbial tale of two nines.  

After posting my last two rounds yesterday (18 holes yesterday and the completion of a two 9 score yesterday afternoon, my handicap index lowered to a 3.7, so that is a course handicap of 4 as of this morning.  

I made two 20+ putts for birdie on the 8th and 9th holes to finish even 36 on the front nine, then couldn't make anything happen on the back... started missing my approach shots right of the green (several greenside bunkers anxiously awaiting my errant shots).

Re: driver shafts... I am currently swinging a reg flex Tensei Blue.  I would like to run some more tests on flexes and models ranging from Ladies to Stiff flexes to see where the differences lie for my swing (~89-92mph).  Interested to see your findings between the AirSpeeder R and AirSpeeder A.

I'm going to post whatever I score for the week;  not going to avoid posting bad scores.  when you have 4 chip shots roll back to your feet,  you just aren't going to score well
