I think the Vols have a good chance to surprise some people. At least, that is what my bracket says...

I am rooting for Duke, ODU (my home team), I like Baylor this year and the Zags.

 

Alright, John!!! I'll be pulling for ODU. You might have to make some tough decisions though - 3 of those teams are in the South bracket!

That would have really killed me. Villanova is in my final 4, along with Ohio st., Kentucky, and Kansas st.

Villanova is not going to sniff the Final 4 this year. They had a great year last year, no question, but this team is held together with scotch tape. Best players not starting for disciplinary reasons = zero focus on the task at hand.

What's funny is that even though they barely beat a 15 and I'm berating them, I would be MUCH happier if they were out of the tournament. The beating they laid on Duke last year still hurts me.

Syracuse, Villinova, Kentucky and West Virginia... I was going to go with an all Big East final 4, but there's no way Georgetown will beat Kentucky...

I think Georgetown just sunk many many brackets. Can Jayhawk Nation stop crying about their tough road to the final 4 now? Their 3 seed couldn't even beat a 14.

Had to slip one in for karma. At least crazy things happening today opens the thought or sliver of hope for a win tomorrow.

If the coaches of the top seeds are worth their salt, they'll be using today to make the point that "on any given Friday, we can get bounced by the University of Southwesteastnorth Kansas Murray Sacto State."

 

The problem with all these upsets, IMO, is that it will make for fewer compelling games on the weekend. Or these Cinderellas will keep dancing. Beauty of the tournament, I guess, no one knows.

Texas and Wake are going into overtime. You could have made a killing if you had bet, in October/November, that Texas would be an 8 seed. I would have called you an idiot. Yet here they are, against a Wake Forest team that's committed 18 turnovers already, in overtime. 2 quick threes for UT...this one should be over. I'm feeling less and less good about my Texas over Kentucky pick.

 

If anyone needs some toilet paper, my bracket is available.

Pretty chalk-y day today, so far at least. Duke is handling their business. Anyone watching the Georgia Tech game? It's a good one so far. I'm disappointed in FSU, though they're making a late push.
