Good morning and blessings on you and yours my friends.
I have evidently put the doom and gloom of black into Black Friday. Short version….The wife’s trip came unglued. I opened my mouth without thinking ( Yeah, I know, so what’s new about that )… and suggested that we go somewhere together. To my horror, the wife person not only said yes, but for me to pick the destination. Only caveat was that it had to be warm.
So, we have left Texas and are now in Florida. I am finishing getting tee times and the “ Empress of Economic Stimulus” is looking up shopping venues.
I have no expectations of this ending either well or cheaply.
During times of woe or self inflicted pain it is good to try and remember E5D9BF5E-88A5-49A7-9A10-6FE1A391714B.jpeg.d6ad59d52290db8cbb838350cd61f60c.jpeg

Here is hoping that this “Florida Folly” is survivable.
May life treat you and yours with peace, joy, and love…

Today is National French Toast Day so I know what I’ll be doing for lunch. If you aren’t French I suppose it could be regular toast although that might be gross with syrup 😉

Sorry about the lateness in answering. I checked the forum following golf today and started to answer and lost the entire forum ( server issues ) for a few hours.
We are in the Ft.Myers/Cape Coral. Was recommended by a former co-worker.

We’ve vacationed there a time or two. There is a course in Estero called Old Corkscrew that I played once, I seem to recall really liking it, if you find yourself in need of a place to play.

Thank you. Almost an embarrassment of riches in the abundance of courses in this area. That course was on the short list..Until reading some recent negative reviews about the course conditions and the more than modest increase in green fees.
I have met some friendly and pleasant people down here. I am sure more than I of those individuals has had to bite their lower lip to keep from laughing out loud at my embarrassing flailing away. It was so bad at times that it would have been doubtful that I could get on a miniature golf hole green in regulation.
