Popular Post Preeway
Good morning, everyone. Up early to grab a quick bite to eat courtesy of the hotel and then on the road again. One of the things I’m going to miss the most from out west is the cool mornings. I can handle the heat of the day but mornings in the Midwest see the worst when you wake up at 5am it’s already 75° and humid. Popular Post Rob Person
Good morning spies! Getting ready to head out for Ranger Rob duties. It's only going to be 98⁰ out today, and the sunscreen is definitely required! Have not caught up on the 96 posts in here from yesterday, nor the 73 topics flagged at the top of the page. Surely it will be double that by the time I read them! Congrats to the newest group of testers selected! I have finally gone out of my comfort zone and booked a sim bay at dicks sporting goods for Friday. I will have no idea what I'm reading after, but I was told I'd have to record it or take photos to see the results, as they don't have the ability to print them. Popular Post David Leighton Reid
Good morning, fellow golfers! No golf today, as I need to take my wife's car in for a service. We have a nice stretch of weather forecasted for the rest of the week. I have started writing my final review on the Toura Golf CB irons that I built and have been field testing for the past several weeks. If interested, check out the build and test thread. Myself and the 3 amazing builders and testers will have our final reviews posted by the end of the month. @Toura Golf Now, on to the funny stuff. *Well darn; I keep getting an upload error. Popular Post Jim Shaw
Good morning all.. I have been "staggering" in my golf game lately, showing signs of going low but not delivering, yesterday I played an interclub and was 4 down after 9 holes, something clicked in me and my "care" factor went up 2 fold and realized that I had been just going through the motions and kidding myself that I was committed... It was an ahh hah moment for sure,I am looking forward to competing in another interclub today with my focus much better... Too much "mechanics" and not enough "get it done". It is amazing how you can never stop learning in this game... I hope everyone has a great day, oh and check out my "I got my Takomo 3 and 5 wood" on the Takomo Long Game thread, I am looking forward to gaming them tonight in my match... tdc1, jbern, tdroma98 and 17 others 15 1 4 Quote committed to performance excellence
Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Okey Dokey my friends , good morning…. There will be NO golf in my future for about a week… “ Those People “ are sending me off to the hinterland to earn my daily bread for about a week. Only played 9 holes on Sunday and felt good but played poorly.. Got the e-mail from “ Those People “ while playing. Never good news when they send an e-mail on the weekend. Spent Sunday evening and yesterday preparing to leave around noon today. “ You-know-who “ has been very vigorous in her wanting to help me to get ready to leave… This doesn’t bode well for the realm’s financial prospects. In the golfing front… I went back and reviewed my rounds for the last few months. I noticed that my rounds started to flip just before having to shut golf down for awhile. I use to play worse on the front than the back 9. That is what has flipped. Will be interesting to see if it is a stamina issue. A week on a work location should give me more insight to the situation. Have a good day my friends. Popular Post Dcfrench3
Good Morning Golfers!! I had a funny dream the other night. I had a reservation at a nice golf course that was reserved way in advance and was super expensive. In the dream though, I had completely forgot about the reservation and remembered the day of a few hours after my reservation. I tried scrambling to the golf course to see if there was anyway I could get my round of golf squeezed in, but they would not let me golf and said I was not going to be getting my refund... Then I woke up from that nightmare and remembered I had a scheduled day of golf on Father's day still Forecast is still looking not too bad. Looks like it'll be a high of 86 with some clouds our here in Colorado, which will be real nice since the sun our here is pretty brutal at times. Then I get to come home and BBQ on my new grill (Masterbuilt Auto-Ignite 545 if anyone is interested) I got a few weeks ago William P, Steve F, ILMgolfnut and 12 others 15 Quote Golfing is to focus yet not focus on your shot at the same time. He should be fine, but golf-wise, he'll be on the DL until the autumn at least. That means that I won't be playing in a single formally organized event all year. Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! Had a decent round yesterday. Well actually is was more of a Jekyll and Hyde round with an even par 37 on the front and a 7 over on the back. Left me with an 81 which isn't too far away from my current handicap. Put some money back in my pocket as our score 2 out of 3 net game put us at 16 under for the day. One stroke better than the competition for the win. The Angles are in town tonight and I was able to get our seats moved for the rest of the season. We were on the "wrong" side of the aisle. Everyone who went up or down the stairs to their seat walked in front of our view of home plate. So we literally sit in the same two seats right across the aisle from where we were. Think I will make it to the driving range to work on dialing in my shots from 100 in before we head to the light rail, and the trip to the ballpark. ejgaudette, Merlin1313, Cfhandyman and 11 others 14 Quote Driver Sim Max2 Hybrids G430 2, 3, 4 Irons ZX4 6-PW Wedges Hi-Toe 50, 54, 58 Putter 2Ball Ten ArmLock Golf cart MGI Zip Navigator
Popular Post tdc1
A lovely morning in the Middle of the Mitten! Currently 63° with a high of about 74° this afternoon. Waiting while my wife has an ultrasound. Probably just recurring lymphedema but better safe an sorry. Walking 9 later today with the boys and a roadtrip tomorrow to a course about an hour north. I only play that course once a year and don’t have much memory of it beyond the 18th hole — shortish Par 4 requiring layup off the tee leaving a 150 shot over water to the green. Usually means 2 out of foursome will make a ball deposit. I’ve saved some of the Mindset RXS balls from MGS especially for this round to see if they can help keep me focused. Have a great day! Popular Post Merlin1313
Good Mornin Y'all- Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday. It's another fun-filled thrilling day at the fantasy factory!!!!! Had a great time yesterday at the Tournament. Not sure where we placed yet- but a good time was had by all. The greens were like counter tops with all kinds of wicked breaks. I think I broke even in the lost/found balls department- it was close either way. At least it gives me the opportunity to try different ones without having to buy them. We ended up at -3. Probably near the bottom of the 2nd flight, but that's ok. Looks like I MIGHT'VE found something that resembles a swing somewhere (kinda felt like Rannulph Junuh for a while) on the back 9. Guess I'll work on that. Hope y'all have a great day with lots of birdie and eagle hunting. Fairways and greens for EVERYONE!!!!!! As a side thought: I hit a Callaway Chrome Soft X and a Titleist Tour Soft (both were brand new out of the box) in a side by side comparison off the tee. Both were hit similarly well. The Callaway went maybe 1 yard farther with what appeared to be a little less spin( in the FWIW department) Edited June 11 by Merlin1313 tdc1, Byrnzee, ILMgolfnut and 9 others 12 Quote ALL Paradym 10.5*(11.5*) (Hzrdus Gen 4 Silver 60/KBS TD) Apex UW 17* (Tensei AV Blue 75) Apex Pro 21 Hybrid 20*/23* (KBS Hybrid) Paradym 6-PW (Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 105X) Jaws Raw Face Chrome 48* (Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 105X) Jaws Raw Chrome Full Toe 54*/ 58* (Nippon Pro Modus 125 Wedge) Jaws Full Toe Black Wedge 64* (DG Tour Issue Spinner 115) WHOG #5 Chrome Soft X

Popular Post rkj427
Good morning Spies on a much later start here for me than usual, but I was able to get a walking round in this morning already. Was colder, about mid 40's when we started, but the sun is out and it did not take long to get warmer into the 50's and then low 60's when we finished. Played decently, and the Motocaddy trolley again performed flawlessly even with some moisture on the ground. Need to spend some time later today making sure all preparations are underway of a Cars & Coffee event we put together for Leader Dogs, and the weather forecast for Saturday looks to be a picture-perfect day for that event. Nice hot cup of coffee and mild temps almost feels like Spring... Will be short lived but have to enjoy when you can... The Chief household officer has the day lined out and duties include but are not limited to a heavy dose of chauffeuring services. Congrats to the Evnroll and Precision Pro testers! Looking forward to your results and comments. Have a safe day everyone and hope you get the opportunity to practice or play today! Safe trip and hopefully gain a little more insight to the flip issue. Short break will serve to rest the hands and wrists for next week's golf activities.
