Happy Monday and Good Morning!!  
Nice thunderstorms last night oddly we do need a little rain even though we’re in rain season.  
Not much going on today but this evening have an evening 9 holes with some neighborhood guys.  Lot of fun and BB.  
Spent a little time chipping & putting yesterday nothing serious but fooling around with different golf balls and how they feel around green.  Sirxon soft feel is definitely a nice ball liked it a lot.

Good morning Spies on this Labor Day Monday here in Michigan.

A day to pay tribute to those workers who perform their roles to keep the goods and services we all use and need flowing, but also a day which kind of represents the end of the summer season too.

Supposed to be sunny and 70 here today, and at 12:00PM I have a Titleist GT fitting on the schedule. More to come on this later after it is completed.

Also posted in the "What's For Sale Around You" thread, and put a link to it here, so all get an opportunity to see it, as some threads don't always get massive exposure.

Nothing makes the winter fly by faster than  winter sports.

Good morning Spies!

A little "later" post from me today as we had a bit of a crazy morning with checking out of our hotel in Milan and getting over to The Duomo Cathedral downtown. It's the third largest church in the world, which means we've now since the 1st (St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City) and the 3rd on this trip. Whether you're religious or not, the architecture on those buildings is quite remarkable. We're currently headed back to Rome before we fly out tomorrow morning. Will be doing a tour of The Pantheon this afternoon and then relaxing the rest of the night.

Yesterday the F1 race at Monza was an absolute dream. We had great seats, great weather, and our driver Charles Leclerc won the race from 4th place with incredible strategy and skill. After the win, we were able to invade the track aka "storm the court" and celebrate with other Ferrari fans under the podium. To cap off an unbelievable day, we just happened to pass another F1 driver, Pierre Gasly, getting to his hotel around the corner from ours. He and his girlfriend were both incredibly nice and we even got to pet their puppy!

@GolfSpy_APH will echo what many others have said already in that you are a big reason this Forum is as successful as it is. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed and we greatly appreciate all that you do for us. Keep up the great work!

Happy Labor Day as well to any fellow-U.S. Spies. I hope you all have a great day and start to your week!

Happy Labor Day! I've got a pork butt going on the smoker here in a bit. 

@Northern Monkey I hope the pups surgery goes well and I know you'll probably be going crazy without him as he rehabs. I would be a basket case without mine here. I'm glad you're spending time with him today. 

@buckpillar sounds like some pretty rough hours, I don't know if I could handle that. 

@EasyPutter have fun on the course today!

I hope those of you who are getting the day off enjoy it and those of you who aren't still have a wonderful day.

Good Holiday Morning!!

Played more so so golf yesterday, only difference is we got completely soaked It started out very light, looked like it might be brief so we said what da heck and then, of course, just a minute or two later it really poured down! 

Only lasted a few minutes and the upside was the course cleared out, so we finished 9 holes .. really appreciate that my wife continued on .. and only bothered in the middle by this one person who is actually an employee but seems to think he owns the course and rangers around bossing everyone. No I do not like that guy...

Anyway a little overgrown tree and hedge trimming at the end of our street later; maybe also attack some of the vines that are intruding into out yard from the neighbors side .. but there's a lotta poison ivy in there so gotta stay covered up and careful .. been successful _so far_ this season at not getting dosed!

I sit here drinking my coffee not patiently waiting until I pick my brother in law up to head to the course. Meeting my stepdad and his son in law for a best ball round on the Fazio links course at Firestone today! Pretty freaking excited for that! I’ll be snapping pics and I’ll share a few here later! A fine good morning to all on this Labour Day Monday.  Enjoying my coffee and slow start to the morning before completing my yard irrigation project (installing additional sprinklers).  Heading to the course this afternoon for a nice relaxing round as I continue to work on swing/path changes.  Have a great day all.

Good Morning Spies and Happy Labor Day for those US folks!

I think I've discovered what hell is gonna be like. It's ordering new clubs, then wiring for them to ship!!! It's agonizing!!! After swinging the new clubs, I can't even bring myself to go out and play my current gamers so here we are! Supposedly shipping this week, then should be here next week. The wait continues!!

In the mean time, I've listed my old clubs on Facebook Marketplace, once those are sold, I'll be able to buy my driver!!

Also! Looks like Srixon and Accros partnered, so I'll be getting my free 14 sensors and 45 day trial shortly! We'll see how the experience compares to Garmin s70!

The pain is real! Got fitted for a driver June 8th waited until July 17th for it to be ready for pickup. Like you didn’t want to even touch the old one. What drivers are you looking at?

So I got ZX5 irons 5-PW, with cleveland wedges 50, 54, 58. Selling my old rogue pro irons and looking at Callaway AI Smoke Max 12°, with HZRDUS Silver 60 shaft.

Nice on both fronts! I tried the Max at my fitting but shocking to me the was pretty forgiving for a low spin model. But can’t go wrong with the Max at all!

Good morning everyone. Not sure  sleeping until 8:00 counts as sleeping in but I’ll take it. My body appreciates the extra sleep too. Afternoon round planned with my son and then grilling some steaks for the family for dinner. Shaping up to be a great day. Hope everyone enjoys their extra day off!

In my opinion, 8:00 counts as sleeping in. Have fun getting out in the course with your son, that sounds like it'll be a good time.

If you want a good ball with a soft feel try the Srixon Q-Star Tour.  Compression is in the 60s and a 3 piece urethane ball so should better off the tee and more green side spin specially with full and partial swing wedges.  I used for a few years before graduating to the Z-Star as I increased my SS.

Good morning spies! The Wild Bunch go out at 10:30 this morning and we have a holiday game. Pure alternate shot, that is if you putt out on a green the next guy in line tees off, for the first 6 holes, the next 6 are a 2 out of 3 ball, and the final six are a scramble. Should be fun. We do not play many non-postable games. 

Heading to Club Champions on Thursday morning to look at drivers. My driver has a flat spot on the face and has started to sound very strange. I am going to take in my Garmin Approach R10 launch monitor and set it up with the Track Man they use. If they let me I will get some pics and an interview and post up the results as a "tested" item in the testing thread. The big thing here is if they put drivers in my hands that can produce only 3 or 4 more yards and no tighter dispersion than what my current driver does I will just replace the Sim 2 head and move on from there. We shall see.

@Byrnzee did you pay the 20 euros and climb all the way to the top of the Duomo? Quite a view from up there. But what impressed me the most was how worn the stone stairs were. Hundreds of years of feet climbing up and down those stairs. 417 if memory serves. 

@Preeway I cannot remember the last time I slept in until 8.

Good morning! This morning I’ve been on the phone with bee removal companies. We uncovered two humongous hives yesterday at my in-laws lake cabin. One under the tool cabinet and another in an insulation space above a spare bedroom. One company would remove them for free if they are honey bees, but I don’t think these are. I’m just thankful no one got stung because there were hundreds all over the place! 
On a golf note, I may have a chance to get to the driving range later today, but only if kids nap at the same time.

We did indeed! Big rainstorms earlier this morning but luckily let up by the time we got up to the terraces

Good Monday morning Spies!

Hope everyone is enjoying the extended Laboe Day Holiday weekend and has good plans to celebrate with friends & family.

Yes! We finally had some rain late yesterday evening after going bone dry for the month of August. Wasn't much but it was rain!

Let us know how your fitting goes Rob, @rkj427, mine was rescheduled to next Monday from its original date two weeks ago.

Working to ensure my back is ready and willing by then. will be trying some short game practice today and see how that goes as I still hope to play my regular round Thursday morning.

Best wishes on a successful surgery for Blue Bear tomorrow and enjoy the time today as I know the time apart during rehabilitation will be difficult for you both @Northern Monkey.

@Byrnzee safe travels on your return home tomorrow.
