I'm on an iPhone and don't get any ads on the forum site, but when I'm on the regular MyGolfSpy page I do get an occasional small one at the bottom, not very often though.

For those with iPhones, you might try going into settings -> safari -> and make sure the "Block Pop-ups" is turned on. See if that helps at all.

Same with using on an iPad. One add along the length of the bottom, then a smaller rectangular video add on top/right of that add.

Ordered a new Super Stroke Traxion Pistol GT 2.0 for my Spider Tour Putter last night, should have it by Sunday .

Spider and TSi3 are going back in the bag today to see which clubs will be making the bag for my buddies golf trip August 17-21. Might slide one of my wedges out for the time being and carry the AJ Max along as well so I can go H2H on course during my round this evening for driver. Or, just be a rule breaking outlaw and have 15 clubs in the bag. I'm not hitting the tour anytime soon anyways

Most that play for fun accept breakfast balls, mulligans, liberal drops, roll the ball and play fast and loose with many rules because as you said, they aren't in a competition and just having fun. I usually adhere strictly to the rules when I play but I will play with 15 clubs in my bag if I am trying to make a decision about a new/old club. And we all know that happens more often than not.

... If any of you haven't watched Quarterback on Netflix I do believe it is a must watch for any football fan. Gives a great insight into playing QB. Without giving anything away, Cousins and Mahomes are polar opposites. Duh. I will add this, in all my years of playing QB I never had a coach tell me "You need to calm down".

I just started watching this last week! Slowly but surely making my way through it. I'm not sure if you've ever watched 'Hard Knocks' but they do a behind the scenes-esque deal as well, shadowing a different NFL team each season. Pretty cool stuff!

... After dealing with the homer Green Bay media, I am giddy about seeing/hearing Rodgers deal with the NYC media after a loss or a pick or anything really because they go right for the throat.

I thought it was a great series, and binge watched it 2 weeks ago after having oral surgery.  Not sure why, but I was never a Mahomes fan but after watching, I really was really impressed with him and how he conducts himself.  I also thought it was really interesting watching Cousins (I’m a MSU alum) and hearing him say how he felt like a rookie when trying to learn his new coach’s system.  It’s an extremely difficult position requiring split second execution.

... I stretched to out to enjoy it for a couple weeks.  I was a huge Mahomes fan before this series and didn't care much for Cousins. After watching I like Mahomes even more and Cousins even less. 

* So true and as a huge Jay Cutler fan I think most don't realize he had to learn 5 different systems in 5 seasons. Rodgers said it takes 2 years for him to be comfortable with a new system and sadly, Cutler never had that luxury.

It is definitely going to make for some entertaining media sessions, because he's admittedly pretty good at coming up with remarks on the fly IMO! Always well calculated with whatever he does so I imagine he's prepared for it. I'm glad he's in the AFC so I don't have to actively root against him haha. Don't think I'll ever not be a Rodgers fan (was the same way with Favre sans Viking years).

I'm there with you.  I really just wanted proof of concept from my mind's eye without having to open photoshop.  Not sure it saved much time vs. photoshop considering how many prompts it took to figure out and get an acceptable output

... I will always appreciate his amazing talent as one of the most gifted passers to ever play in the NFL, but like most outside Green Bay I never liked the guy. Favre on the other hand was easy to like, even when he beat you.

Sam don't be hard on yourself!  We all learn different skills at different speeds.  The fact that you're moving forward is a great thing!  I was blessed to have a dad that was one of the OG I.T. guys in the business world (before computer science was even a thing), so I pick up on how to use tech/new programs very quickly.  I would GLADLY trade you some computer skillz for your golf handicap!

Now if you can just get her to teach me to footba....golf; my handicap might just head in the right(ish) direction.

I did a sales video for a Financial Advisor in the early 90's and one of the things he told me was keep your eyes open for anything that excites you or you think is very interesting, and then buy some stock in that company. Thinking IT is a Steven King novel, a computer just came out and instead of typing in code, you clicked on a picture. Sweet I'm All In! But as a struggling actor at that time I could only afford 1,000 share of Apple in 93 for less than 50 cents a share. I still haven't sold it and it has split many, many times so while I know nothing about IT, I sure do appreciate it!

I could have had a story like that but I bought Apple too soon.  Was early ‘80s and while working full time and going to grad school part time (math and computer engineering), I was working on my thesis and needed a word processor.  The husb of our daughters daycare sold apple products, and I bought his personal used apple II from him but he was telling me about a new product that was going to come out that was going to change the world.  So, I did some research and bought AAPL.  Well, they came out with the Lisa and aapl tanked, so I sold it.

The early-mid 90s was a dark period for Apple.  At that time, I bought stock in a company called Cabletron, and within a few weeks, doubled my money.  My dad, being a CPA and dabbler in the market, told me to never be afraid to take a profit.  So I sold it - and it kept going up and up and up.  So I started looking for another investment and discovered little heard of Cisco.  I bought I think 50 shares, and ignoring my dads advice, held it through many 2/1 and 3/2 splits, usually multiple splits/year.  Ended up with over 1600 shares.   Then the dot com bust and continued to ignore his advice, but over time it came back and I sold.  I became a big fan of John Chambers.

During the forum Community Call today, another forum member made a suggestion for some pictures and gifs here, and I told him he needed to go first, as I still had a 90-minute commute home from work.

Seems he hasn't quite had the time or found the proper picture or gif, so I guess at the suggestion of @Ben Joest I may be the first to post these here...................  

Anyways, in my opinion these are all better than a cat on a rainbow colored unicorn
