Good evening spies! Happy Tuesday! I just got off the course and am glad to be out of the wind. Weird thing was I was one over when the wind picked up, and one over while playing in it. Totally unexpected. 72 is my final today, and I wasn’t even paying attention to the score. Happy Birdie Hunting!

All I can say it has been a day…ended up getting sucked into something at work that ran long and then straight to a volunteer event that I was late for.  Just getting home and eating…long day!

Took SWMBO to her per-surgery check-up this morning, spent a couple hours at home creating a profile picture/avatar for my son to use on a fishing site, and then picked up my grandson from school and watched him until my son got off work.

I typically get him on Monday and Friday from school, and it is a great time that we spend together, especially at his young age of 7.

Took them and SWMBO out for dinner, and now ready to wait for the start of Monday Night Football.

Tomorrow, I hope to get to the range, and practice putting green. Have rounds scheduled for Thursday and Sunday this week, and SWMBO may come along for both of them for the walk, at least 9 holes anyway.

Yes! The GT4 has finally found its way home! Headcovers arrived a little earlier but were waiting on the GT before coming out of their wrapper and as everyone has stated, they are exquisite!

I will post some new family photos tomorrow as the late arrival this evening leaves me with insufficient lighting to do the pictures justice.

Good evening Spies on what turned out to be a pretty good day here overall, even though no golf playing was involved.

Did manage to get a new pair of shoes, actually tried them on for size in the store, needed a wide, they didn't have them, but FootJoy website had last years model on sale for 1/2 price and in my size.

Ordered them earlier, and they are shipping from IL and should be here tomorrow. FootJoy Carbon/SL Pro shoes, white and black, only color they had in my size, but for the price they will suffice quite nicely.

Earlier after my MGS headcovers arrived, I actually sent Tony from CMC copies of the pictures I posted here and thanked them for the great, high-quality covers at crazy good prices.

They are glad the Spies all love them, and honestly, I can't believe that they haven't sold out yet.

Just got in from a family movie night, the film was by Matt Walsh is a satire on the DEI initiatives and actually is quite entertaining and eye opening.

Plan on range time and practice putting green time tomorrow.

We are doomed.  Kids are more and more required to have phones for school work.  My wife and I decided to let our kids be phone free until they have employment to pay for their own phone… but, my sons teacher told them to use AI for test corrections.  No one is going to know how to do anything for themselves if this path of technology reliance continues…

Sounds like a great day!  I shop for my shoes on foot joys last year models every time. Save a ton of money and they carry enough extra wides.

Schools here won't allow phones in the school at all these days. Instead they require the parents to rent the schools tablets or ipads. They are not allowed to provide their own either. "Snow days" or "storm days" as they are called here anyway, still allow then to have remote class.

It is a little early for evening and not quite done with the CEO task list but thought I'd get some pictures up of the new family members as I promised last night.

Taking votes on which headcovers to keep in play. While the Spies currently hold a commanding lead, the Lonestar mallet cover (another CMC design) isn't giving it up easily ...

Here's a couple of shots of the new kid in the bag. Stock shaft so no pics of that. Everyone has seen a HZDRUS Black shaft. I sure do like the look of the 430cc head at setup!

                                     

Also like the new face marking as it definitely helps with ball position at set up.      

I was hoping to get out to the range today for an intro session but doesn't look like that is in the cards so maiden voyage may be tomorrow's regular round unless I hold off for a few days. Nah, where's the fun in that...

Good evening everyone. End of year golf league party tonight and kicking it off with a double pour of Eagle Rare to celebrate our team taking 3rd place. Not sure why but I can’t stop looking at a bunch of different club options to update my bag but I keep changing my mind and buying nothing. So many good deals out there but just not sure what to buy first. Might have to wait a while longer and figure this out before committing. Hope everyone has a great evening.

We’re flying unfortunately, but I’ll be in Austin and plan on playing 4-6 October. Take a drive!!!

Just got off the course and had another hot round minus the three penalties, oh and the missed birdie putts that just lipped out. I did have three birdies though and two really great shots to the pin. 

Rolled both of them in for birdies and on long putt for another . Three penalties killed the score, but it’s fine, had a great time with the peeps!

Wasn't sure about when you were coming down, but I did check with the CEO, and it seems I am spoken for that weekend... One of her Quilting/Holiday Craft shows... Oh well, another time.

Good evening Spies on this Wednesday.

Managed to get some things completed around the house, and then spent some time at both the range and practice putting green late in the afternoon and evening.

@William P, Great looking GT4, and I hope it performs well for you! 

Also, I looked on a map where Allen, TX is, and it is not too far from:

1.  My most recently sold Corvette went to McKinney, TX, which is just north of you.

2.  I have Corvette friends that live in Richardson, and Mansfield, both to the south of you.

3.  I have a cousin who used to live in Round Rock, but moved even farther south to McAllen. Transplanted to TX from MI.

@Erin B another solid round for you in the books. 

I am playing late morning tomorrow, and then again on Sunday.

@William P keep the 2 spy woods covers. The "other" mallet cover looks great too! That way everytime you tale the spy cover off the GT you will be oooh amd ahhhed!

@Erin B nice round!

had a busy day with doc appointment,  then squeezed 9 holes in on the par3 before gc duties. Shot even par at 27. 1 birdie on 5, then a bogey on 9. Its a fantastic par 3 course.  Struggled a bit with a right miss almost the whole day, but distances werespot on. Had a few i had to chip onto the green because of it.
