yeah, mentioned them a little earlier in the thread but The Judge drivers were underrated.  Made a pretty good set of blades as well.

I know them from their blades, never knew about the driver, will have to Google that! And didn't the founder (pun intended) go on to start TaylorMade?

Has anyone heard of pal joey copperhead irons?

I may or may not have just bought a 5-9i set at goodwill.  They are a ladies flex shaft. The heads are in ok condition.  I figured it would make for a good project for regripping, polishing, and cleaning up.

WITB-Foremost 551's - 3w, 5w, 5-SW (circa 1998), Top Flite 460cc Driver, Adam's 7w, Warrior GW and 60⁰, Odyssey AI-One DB putter.

Just an old newbie golfer, trying to learn and improve 1 club at a time.

Dont remember seeing the copperheads but do remember they had a grooveless wedge, think it had a milled face.

My mom had a set of pal Joey ping clones I played as a kid. Loved them

I’ve got a bad reeling about this

Pixl Golf. They licensed the MP-33 shape from Mizuno and the Eye 2 shape from Ping. They machined out the face, added a thin polymer layer, then pressure-fit titanium hexagon posts in as a face. They cut grooves across the posts.  I have a set in the basement, 3-P plus a 1 iron.  Shot some of my lowest rounds with the crazy things.

Just for the heck of it, the first set of clubs I had was a Lee Trevino starter set make by Faultless. Another brand that I haven't seen in years was a Spalding offshoot called Tour Edition. It was a solid golf ball (Not a wound Balata ball, which was the preferred setup back in the day.) that was touted as high spin. Greg Norman used to play them and since he could make a ball back up with those things, many of us bought in on the concept. Another golf club brand that I don't see any more was from a sporting goods company named Voit. I guess what all this means is I'm now a Geezer...

PinSeeker 2, my first real set. Bought them at a Roger Dunn store in Arroyo Grande CA in 1999. I don’t think they’re around anymore but their story is really interesting. If I find it I’ll post it…. I found it!!! https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1987-11-26-fi-24993-story.html

My first decent set of clubs were Pinseeker. Loved those clubs. Roger Dunn had a single store in Oregon...this must have been 2000 or so.

Have an old set of Pinseeker ladies irons in the garage somewhere, used to belong to my mom.

Still trying to find a deeper dig of info on These Pal Joey's I picked up. Truly not alot of info on them, but what I ha e read is that they played decent.

These are the copperback series.  Going to be cleaning them up, and probably regripping them... maybe

I've been out with the family today because they love thrift shopping, so I figured I'd try to find clubs lol. No luck, but look at these gems..20240403_141835.jpg.cf65e5a42720986c434573d4c796512e.jpg20240403_141901.jpg.24b6d3f91e03bd5b4239d521ac4d4647.jpg

I remember those MT  clubs from the country club Pro shop in the 70's.
