No, that was a 3i.

See, now that is golf course management at it's best.  You hit a 3 iron to 250 in the FAIRWAY leaving you as shot to a pin tucked behind a bunker with a green breaking front to back.....   WELL DONE.   :)

Delofting an iron and swinging for the fences doesn't beat Lydia Ko.

Not going to comment about him beating Ko but judging by his SS and launch there, I wouldn't say he was swinging for the fences or delofting too much with a launch close to 12* at 107.5 mph. This seems normal a normal 3I for bones SS. I can get to that SS With my 6i while being in control and Bones' has about the same swing speed as me I believe.

Ding, ding, ding......we have a winner.

This was just a smooth controlled 3i. The whole point was that it was a controlled 3i that travels farther than my opponents driver.......its going to be a competition at 7600yds.

I can vouch for that.  I've seen him play, and he doesn't swing out of his shoes.  He's just strong, and has a fast SS.

and de-lofting is the result of a good swing.  but that is for another thread

I think that a match between Bones and Ko would be fun to watch, I would not say that bones could beat her, but with a low cap versus her low cap, they will both likely be at or around par on a 7600yard course, she would likely be able to get up and down on the long par fours, throw in a couple birdies on the par 5's, but in think bones would likely be doing the same, for 1 round, I think he could hang with her. Again not tjst he would win, but he would be able to stay close at 7600yards. I play with a coupe scratch, and a couple +1, they are almost always around even par, even on bad days, and on good days can shoot 4-5 under. No different than what Ko would do, on any given day, so if bones believes that at a longer distance he can stay with her, who are we to say differently.
