alfriday101
My club is tearing down a cart shed and replacing it. I talked to the workers today and asked if I could take the lock off my shed door because it had sentimental value. They looked at me like I was crazy. Perhaps I am. My father moved his cart into the shed in 1968. I took it over when he passed years ago. It's had the same lock on it all that time. Who knew Masterlocks would last over 50 years with just a little oil and WD-40. tommc23, MattF, sirchunksalot and 2 others

I have heard good things about the 3M wraps, but I've also heard they are a little difficult to put on and get good results. I disassembled everything, it's a pretty easy process.. only a few bolts holding the actual body on. I actually had a buddy paint the body and the roof as I don't have a spray gun, I did everything else myself. It was painted with a black base coat, then metal flake from Paint with Pearl was mixed in with the clear coat, which gives it a chameleon affect depending on the angle you're looking at it. As far as getting paint to stick to the plastic, you will want to make sure you sand/scuff the body and use adhesion promoter, that's the biggest thing. A lot of people recommend Bulldog adhesion promoter. Rickp
Nice work. Love the paint. Did you do the seat covers yourself? I'm debating doing ours since they're 10 yrs. old and cruddy looking. If the frame is solid, motor or engine good, no cracks in body might be a fun project. Windshield easy to replace.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy artful_golfer 1 Quote Rick Left Hand, Driver; PXG 0311XF Cypher 50 gr Senior 5 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 7 wood; Ping 425, Senior Shaft 55 gr 5 hybrid; Cally Steelhead, Hazardous R2 Irons; Mizuno JPX 923HM 7-GW Recoil 460 F2 Wedges; Titleist S9 54*, Mizuno SW 56* Putter; Waaay too many to list
