Been a rough 24 hours. Our Great Dane was diagnosed a few months ago with a heart condition that unfortunately cannot be treated anymore with medicine. Had to call the vet today to make her final appointment and it absolutely gutted me. Spent my entire drive from VA to NY with tears in my eyes. Spent most of last night with her and it just kills me to have to say goodbye. Today and tomorrow are just going to flat out suck.

I'm sorry to hear this!  Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.  Never easy to lose a member of the family.

My son and daughter are expecting their second.  Found out she has Spina Binfida, and had to go for surgery.  They actually do a C-section, cut into the uterus and operate on the baby.  They were able to clos the opening on the spine and get mom and baby put all back together.  That was back in the beginning of June.  The cerebellum has almost returned to the proper shape of a bowtie, and she has gained almost 2 lbs.  Incredible what doctors can do today.  They will have to go back to the Cleveland Clinic at 32weeks and she will have to stay there till they take our grandaughter by C-Section ( a second time).  There may be some issues that my need further surgeries but everyone is optimistic.   This is kinda got problem and kinda not post.  🙂

Hoping everything turns out well for your family and the new baby!

Took it to where I bought the tires and they fixed it. Worst part was being paranoid about my spare tire pressure before I got to a gas station. Tire is fixed and back on though so I’m happy about that.

Developed a kidney stone Tuesday night.  Very painful first night, subsided Wed.  Reared back up for a bit this morning prior to Dr's appt.  Imaging confirmed that I do indeed have a stone.  Awaiting referral to urologist.  Decided to cancel next couple of rounds of golf just to be on the safe side until I know more.  Currently, I'm not in the severe pain of a stone, but I've been through them before and know how painful that they can be!!!

Felt like my allergies were kicking up this morning. I don't normally have issues with them, but occasionally they bother me. Congestion, scratchy throat, and a little bit of a runny nose. My wife suggested I test and now it looks like I'll be out of work the next 5 days.

Man, sorry to hear. Hope it’s an easy 5 days.  One of my SIL had a tough time last week.

I appreciate it. Hopefully it won't be too bad, most of the people at work have had a bad day then been fairly good. Now I've just got to deal with the insanity inducing task of locking myself away from the rest of the family.

Hopefully all goes well Jason, and you are back and up around after the short isolation period is over.

Maybe you can get some nice weather, won't feel too bad and can get in some practice.

I hope that's the case, Robert. Good weather is hard to come by here right now. I appreciate the well wishes!

I will be, I just tend to go a bit stir crazy sometimes. Working in the automotive industry, I'm used to moving a lot and get antsy having to be still. At least I've got my clubs in the room with me and can work on some stuff while I'm in here. Gotta turn it positive!

Hope you get better quickly. My house is pretty much over it by now. A few lingering random coughs here and there, but everyone had basically one or two rougher days and then it mostly passed. Was miserable trying to work from home with the kids running around for attention, but it hit on a slow week for me. Well wishes it passes without issue.

This crap is going around again. My son had it two weeks ago. He said no big deal. Slight headache, aches and pains, sore throat and a stuffy nose.  The worst part was only 1 day and he slept through most of it. Cold medicine was all he took and was fine in 5 days.

Fresh air helps, stay as active as you can. Small walks outside. Your energy level will be the last to get back to normal, but keeping yourself moving will help. I hope you get over it quickly.

We will see you out on the course soon.
