Many of those with good vision really have no idea how lucky they are. I played QB in college and a Grad Student was doing her thesis on superior vision in athletes. Specifically better athletes are blessed with great vision and most don't know it. She was interviewing QB's, good hitters on the baseball team and great shooters in basketball. Everyone she had interviewed got a free eye exam and all tested at least 20/15 for vision. I had no idea my vision was better than 20/20 as that is all any eye chart ever checked in my youth. ... I still have 20/15 vision and can see balls clearly on the green form 250 out BUT as a fellow old man, I cannot read anything in front of my face without reading glasses. Never had a problem when younger playing all sports. I have never needed glasses to read which was what my job entailed for 45 years. The only reason I got glasses in 1989 was to read hwy signs. I have never played golf wearing prescription glasses. I could see the ball better in the distance, but it wasn't clear when at address. Bifocals were out; tried them, hated them, so I just gave up wearing glasses except in the car. I still have them in my car... regular and sunglasses, and I will wear them if I'm driving long distances and in unfamiliar territory. It's the Xphlexxx Agera. The first pic is after four swings. The second pic is after all swings, including ones where I had the ball on a 4†tee and swung out of my shoes about 10 times. Nice grouping for going crazy as well!!! Which I followed up by playing our little 6 hole par 3 course with four balls on each hole. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. Tomorrow is the final day. They're bringing in kids, and we'll deliver our lesson to them. One other guy in my group is an experienced coach; all the rest are newbies. Should be interesting to see them with kids tomorrow. Last day today, and the team did great delivering our lesson. I wish I always had 8 other coaches to help me deliver lessons.
