So, admittedly I'm stealing this idea from TSauer and TheWahoo, but gotta strike when the iron's hot! 

 

Imagine you've achieved golfing immortality, you've won the Masters and have earned the Green Jacket. However, the Tuesday before your title defense comes perhaps the hardest decision you've ever had to make. What are you serving at the Champions dinner? Parameters are simple, 3 course meal, starter, entree, dessert.

 

Starter: Traditional wedge salad

 

Entree: Grilled NY Strip Yak Steak with roasted fingerling potatoes with a truffle butter

 

Dessert: Make Your Own Banana Split Bar with all types of toppings and Root Beer Floats.

Starter: ceasar salad with freshly ground black pepper, parmesan reggiano, and fresh lemon.

 

Entree: dungeness crab with orange sauce, served with garlic bread and couscous. Maybe steak topped with chimichurri sauce.

 

Dessert: chocolate mousse or an affogato.

I'm thinking... Since I've lived in Georgia, north Mississippi, and the Carolinas:

 

Starter: Pulled pork Brunswick stew

 

Entree: Memphis style dry rub ribs with slaw and sweet potato chips

Appetizer: buffalo style chicken wings

 

Entree: Garbage plates. Mac salad, home fries, two cheeseburgers with mustard, onions and meat hot sauce.

 

Dessert: someone said hot brownie and vanilla ice cream. That sounds amazing but I'm going Grape pies as homage to our finger lakes wine region.

Let's start with Charleston meeting street crab and graduate to seared scallops with an apple brandy sauce served with carrots and golden raisens sauteed in olive oil, Irish butter and brown sugar.

Being a hunter and a fan of tradition here's mine

Starter- quail legs wrapped in bacon and some BBQ sauce on them

Meal- duck breast medium rare cooked with sweet potatoes that are roasted and some veggies

Dessert- I would have some fresh ice cream sundaes
