Testers Wanted! Titleist SM10 and Stix Golf Clubs ×

Equipment Upgrade

Recommended Posts

Getting back into the game after more than 10 hrs away. I’m looking to get a full set of clubs. Curated recommended the Cobra Fly XL or TaylorMade RBZ. Would I be better off  with one of these sets or maybe a complete set of Maltby’s from GolfWorks? Maybe Stix/Lazrus Bombtech?

I know the Big 5 are that for good reason. But since I want to keep it around $1000 would a $1000 set of Cobra’s be better than $1000 set of Maltby’s or am I just paying for the name?

Any thoughts at all are appreciated!

Take a look at Sub 70. The many different types of irons and shaft options. The don’t cost an arm and a leg. Easy to use demo program and their customer service and is excellent also. Even over the phone they do a very good job getting you the proper setup. Read through the Sub 70 thread. Lots of satisfied customers.

Try to find a demo program like sub70 or go to demo a few clubs at sporting goods store if you can to see what type of club head

you would be interested in, forges, cavity back, hollow body, game improvement style. The combos are endless. Fortunately their are a lot of options on the secondary market from wither BST or websites like second swing.

I can "Third" Sub70 as a great place to start looking. What's your budget for clubs?  You could easily outfit a full bag with last season models and save some cash.
