Popular Post Placasse61
Good morning, Cool and partly sunny this morning here in Bellingham. Yard work and bill paying today. Got 9 in yesterday afternoon and played well for me. 5 pars and 4 bogies for a 40 (second best 9 ever) Lots of leaves on the course, with greens not rolling well with some leaves and bumps. The course had 4 total golfers on it (2:00) 2 on 18 and 1 on 9 when I started. Walked it in 1:30 with some practice edison wedge shots at certain distances. Hope to do it again on Friday! Popular Post Kenny B
Good Morning everyone! Golf course never opened yesterday and today is supposed to be the same temp at 31º, but we might see some sun if the fog burns off. Some showers are moving into the area tomorrow with possible snow at night; along with the wind, so miserable!! Storm doors were delivered yesterday and the contractor will be here at 9am to let cold air into the house while he installs them. Wife just asked if I want to play this afternoon if the course opens; thought about it for 0.00001 seconds. Have a great day and hope you can play golf... outside, or inside!! cksurfdude, IndyBonzo, Josh Parker and 12 others 15 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Popular Post IndyBonzo
Good morning Spies! It's a cold morning in Indy, with snow on the stoop and frozen dog ... walkers. Sending prayers your way. I am fortunate to travel to warm(er) climes this weekend, as we head to New Orleans for a meeting and some fun time too. A friend is getting us onto Metairie CC Friday. High in the 20s but warming to almost 50 later in the week (Ohio weather). Couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting any mail this past week or yesterday. Went to the post office and apparently they just decided it wasn’t worth coming all that way just to deliver my mail so they were holding on to it until they had a sufficient pile. Nice of them. I asked them to please deliver my mail every day, like everyone else. They agreed and apologized once I pointed out that there were things like, bills, replacement credit cards, things a person might find time sensitive. Sheesh. Good thing it wasn’t meds or something. We have a new carrier for this area. The old one retired. At least once a week we would get a neighbors mail and they would get ours. Would always meet up and say hi, then exchange mail. On the plus side it might be 25F outside but the hot water is near scalding, careful dear Rob @rkj427 as soon as that warmth starts moving in would appreciate you sliding it my way quickly and no doubt @bens197 and @MattWillGolf will too as it slides past my neck of the woods. Hope golf of some kind is part of your day! cksurfdude, ejgaudette, Josh Parker and 10 others 11 2 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First Strike Rattlesnake (10), TeelessTM (13), Tommy Armour TA1 3h (19), Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) Lovett (59) |> Flatstick: L.A.B. Popular Post Preeway
Good morning, everyone. Coffee isn’t in hand yet but it’s almost ready. I’m a pour over kind of guy so it takes a few minutes. I used to make it by the pot but I was dumping so much down the drain I went and bought one of those hot water pitchers and now make as much as the day demands. Also seems to taste better this way too. On a side note, be sure to tag your fellow spies if you enter any holiday giveaways on IG or Twitter (yes it’s twitter, not X). I tagged @Jnoble89 and now we both get gift cards to PGA Super Store! If you don’t know any fellow spies on IG, my handle is tripletdadne and now you also know Jasons’s !
