Temps have been in the negative degrees overnight several days and we had a pretty big winter storm (snow and ice) for us so the kids have been out of school and the garden where I work has been closed. We finally opened back up today, but the high is still only 24. A stocking cap is also a must. I have a pair of FJ cold weather gloves, but I lose most of my feel with them on so I normally just put them on between shots. Honestly, any pair of gloves to keep your hands warm between shots will be great. Also play an extra club or two up as your distance will be affected by 1) the higher air density, 2) loss of elasticity in your equipment, and 3) the extra layers restricting your swing. I'd also plan for a few extra shooters of your favorite spirit. BTW, I look exactly like this picture with my running tights on. Hey, I know a few guys that dress just like that. My dad only 20yrs older would meet us at pond and play for an hour but would make us promise not to tell mom cutting work early as he was. Fast forward to 90s from the 60s and I'm whisleing down my Bantams for playing pond hockey while trying build a structured power play.. Ain't life grand..Play The Game.
