All I can say is what an awesome and thoroughly fun experience. He really knows his stuff. Incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much. Best fitting experience I've had so far. It didn't just meet expectations, it far exceeded them. A few observations, in Canada, Tour Experience Golf (TXG), is now rebranded as Club Champion Canada. While the name on the door has changed, everything else from the staff, Foresight launch monitors, Quintic putting monitor, shaft matrix, build shop all remain the same. Ian Fraser is the GM of the Canadian operations. Mike Martysiewicz is the Director of Club building and fitting. Ian and the quality and excellence of his staff remain consistently superb. I know exactly what to expect and what I’m getting when I come to them. A very very happy customer. Gonna need to see the selfie with you and Ian @Cfhandyman! Such a cool experience!!! What a performance Scottie put on yesterday to run away with the championship. Truly in the midst of witnessing greatness in the game of golf. He has been on an absolute tear and if it continues I could realistically see him challenging for a handful more victories this year. Absolutely incredible. Had another article post to the main site today with some different strength exercises to add to your routine to boost your performance on the golf course! Would appreciate if you gave it a read and comment! https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/golf-performance-training-strongerfasterlonger/ Have a great day! Nice read Jason! My BP was still elevated at the doctor and my wife had to advocate for some meds to help with it. It's crazy they don't seem to take this seriously. I realize every time I've been to the doctor it's been good, but c'mon. Hopefully it'll all get settled before to long. Hope you get it worked out Jason. My BP is high every time I go to Cadiac Rehab therapy. They don’t let anyone participate if BP is 170 or higher. I take my BP at home before I go to therapy… normal-ish. Get there, sit waiting for 20 minutes and it’s 170+. So I have to sit for 10 minutes; they retake my BP and it’s 151. During the cardio exercise, it goes up to 162; after the cardio and cool-down stretching, it’s 120. Funny… it never gets above 145 until my next Rehab visit, and we go through the same routine all over again. Doc put me on another heart med… amlodipine. I’m already on COREG. Kenny, I tend to suffer from white coat syndrome whenever I get my pressure taken, I was sitting in the waiting room at the clinic for at least 20 minutes and I'm the room for another 10 and it still came back as high. It's currently sitting at 131/85 as I'm sitting here with the dogs on my lap. I'm glad to hear it doesn't go up much for you when you're exercising, I was told it would raise it quite a bit and I'm really wanting to get out and start walking or something to get some exercise. I mean, we have a pretty big golf trip coming up and it's bad enough y'all are going to see my limping around after getting off my feet for a while. I want to be in decent enough shape to not be breathing to heavily walking up hills. I want to be in decent enough shape to not be breathing to heavily walking up hills. I think that white coat syndrome is what I have. I’ve never really had much of a problem before my heart attack; my primary care visits were always around 130/80. It was high while I was in the hospital, and it never really came down to pre-hospital levels. My heart doc is still trying to find a suitable cocktail. My BP is 120/75 in the morning when I get up and when I go to bed. Mid-morning it goes up to a high of 140/90. Getting out and walking after meals is the best time for BP and blood sugar. I hear you about getting in shape; well, better shape… round is a shape, but not the one I prefer. Lost a bunch of weight a couple of years ago, but I have plateaued and can’t seem to get the rest off me! Don’t wait!! It gets harder the longer you put it off and older you get. Popular Post Preeway
Good morning everyone. Thunderstorms overnight and no more golf on the calendar for a little more than a week as work and kids sports fills it up for a spell. Will still find a way to hit the range for some practice time which my short game and putting will greatly appreciate. Using Shot Scope has been great for the data but it really throwing off my flow when putting and my green reading has taken a little bit of a hit. Starting to get the hang of it a little better but it still is a little more work than I like. Officially begin counting down the days to summer. Only 29 students days to go. I seem to have a dead pull going on with the irons so I gotta figure that out. I think it's ball position related but, need to confirm that. Then the weather here in Michigan gets a little (lot) wet the next couple days. Get to the course while you can right! Haha. May you all have a great day! Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning All, it’s back to work today for me. But it is only a 3 day work week, hoping to get out and golf Friday as long as it’s nice out. Yesterday I went out and played 9. The course I played on is only a 9 hole course anyway, and really there’s no rough, the bunkers are like concrete, and the greens are a mixture of sand and some grass. You see the way it should break, and it never breaks. I wasn’t worried about putting yesterday as I knew the putting surface isn’t the best, I was more concentrating on well struck shots. That I did accomplish. What I also learned was I have become more understanding that course management is best and I don’t need to hit those hero shots. Also the lesson from the program I was in gave me confidence, and also not trying to smash the ball like Bryson in front of people. That helps not feeling like your back is thrown out of whack. Anyhow, hope everyone has a great day. Popular Post CSiders12
Good morning spies! I am exhausted today. Yesterday, I walked a total of almost 18,000 steps and just under 9 miles. Was able to play some twilight golf as well which was amazing. Something about playing golf on a nice, warm evening feels different. Can't wait for that feeling in the summer. Slow day of work today with nothing planned afterward. Sounds like a great day of rest if you ask me. I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday! sirchunksalot, cksurfdude, Cfhandyman and 13 others 16 Quote Driver: Callaway Rogue ST MAX LS Hybrid: SIM 2 3 Hybrid Irons: Mizuno JPX 921 Tour 4-P Wedges: Sub70 TAIII 50, 54, 60 Putter: Mizuno M.Craft Type 03 Putter Maxfli Tour Golf Ball Review Rapsodo MLM2Pro Launch Monitor Review Unofficial Mizuno Type III Putter Review
