I hav3 zero golf stuff in my garage. Living in Florida, my garage gets over 100* during the day. Anything made with plastic usually gets sticky and deteriorates.

I hate a messy garage especially when it comes to tools, shoes or other golf 'stuff'. Since my wife and I both golf - there's plenty of golf stuff to go around. I'm almost done with the organization. FYI, I just put lots of clubs that I haven't used in a few years in the trunk. They're headed over to the new Global Golf store in Tampa - for trade-ins. BTW, the shoe rack I built is bigger and cost less than anything I could buy online.

I can relate to hot garages, after all, we're just south of you. Fortunately, we have a large Live Oak tree that shades our garage and I put insulation in the garage door so the temps are a bit more moderate.

I'm an organizational freak and that looks AWESOME! That being said, living in the south I never leave my clubs in the garage, as I've had a number ferrules come loose and grips degrade from the 100+ degree temps in there.

Gary, the shelving is standard 12" wide. The "box" is 3/4 MDF and the face frame is 1X2 select pine. I bought a 2 - 2'X4' MDF at Home Depot and had them cut it lengthwise, and further cut it at home into 3' sections. The wire shelving was in 6' sections which I cut in half. The shelving is fastened to the wall in back and the face frame in front. Hope this helps.

Looks great!!  When you are out here in the West on your golf trip next spring, you can build a setup for me. 😁  I'm not that organized.

Thanks, I’m always looking for garage organization ideas.  I should have built my house with 3-car garage but didn’t, and do a fair amount of diy and woodworking, so space is at a premium.  Earlier this year built a router table then used it to build 11’ frames and temporarily install clear marine vinyl on my porch to keep spring pollen out, and recently built my wife a indoor cedar herb planter for the porch.

I wish I could put mine in the garage!  I am hoping to insulate it this next year so it doesn't hit 100+ in there.  For now I have it organized in my office.

In the house we are having built we will have a three car garage.  Going to have them put in a heavy duty slatwall at the end of the third car area to put in shoe racks and bag storage. Plus it will be fully insulated and looking at getting it climate controlled.

I use this stuff in my work life, and it holds up to some nasty conditions and has never failed on me.

Feels like I would be footing the bill for a golf trip.  Pass... I can do a crappy job for lots less.  😂

That looks awesome! Everything looks very well built!
I built a peg board wall the garage for organization and use hooks and shelves that are pretty cheap. I’ll have to post some photos when I get a chance. I haven’t integrated golf equipment into the organization yet though. With small kids, there’s enough to organize without tossing golf stuff into the mix!

A bit more on the organization of golf 'stuff' in my garage. I bought a somewhat unique golf ball holder for those special ones I've collected, Pinehurst, LPGA events, etc. This one holds 50 balls - I had quite a few others but ended up only putting the top picks there. Also put hat hooks on the side of my shoe organizer. So far it's been working out well.

I just did something similar. Went online to get some ideas, made a blueprint, and started cutting away. Overall cost was $100, which is less than or about as much as you’ll see online/in stores. Super happy with how it turned out.

Nice! I plan on making something for my garage too. Well, likely going to modify existing shelving to add a space for bag storage and deeper shelves for shoes. Just need to clear out the garage of all first to figure out the best configuration.

I love this idea! I've been thinking about getting some kind of ball holder for my daughter. She's expressed mild interest in golf, but absolutely cherishes the golf balls that have been given to her by other people (usually the golf pro shop people).

What all qualifies as a ball that you'd keep around for displaying?

I think the only ball that I have kept for "display" is the ball I shot my record low round with (2 under 34 on 9 holes) in high school.

I've got the classic metal bag rack for my Wife and I's stuff in the third stall of our garage. I also built a wooden rack for my putter covers and started to collect some pin flags.

Has anyone found any garage storage options that can be locked for additional security? Most options I've found are for personal garages but I live in an apartment complex with a shared garage. It's heated year-round and there's plenty of space behind our car for storage. I just haven't found something that makes me feel comfortable putting golf equipment there for anybody to see.

Looks great, can I hire you to come organize mine!

these ideas are and pictures. Keep them coming.  I’m in the process of trying to refit the third garage bay into a gym and hitting area and I’ve “borrowing” ideas.

@Nick_D is that a hitting screan to the right in you picture?  I’d like to see it if you woundnt mind.
