It's a great looking putter. Does it go on the wall or in the bag?

This is a bagger. That is the beauty of the beauty. it is still built to playing spec. Toe hang is at about 4 O'clock which is perfect for me. at address, the twist all but vanishes too.

Kids had a school play tonight, so I was limited to carpet putts, but I can tell that the weight and feel are great for my stroke. Plus the copper over carbon is a great low maintenance finish.

If it didn't work out and it went on the wall, that would not be the worst thing either.

Very very nice! The only thing that I would prefer is a shorter neck, but thats super hot regardless!

That, for me, was the one critical design feature. This allows it to be just off of face balanced. Too much toe hang on a short-neck blade for my stroke.

And it makes room for more turns

Thanks. The drive was uneventful, had a couple hours of driving on small twisty roads, but otherwise it was easy cruising.

 

How did the twisty do on the grass? Is it going to bump the smiley?

 

We're teeing off at 12:30 eastern, so we're waiting a bit longer to hit the range - it's a little chilly and damp right now.

We had a date this afternoon, got to the course and all the greens were heavily sanded. Almost left immediately, but I had to hit a few. Such a nice feel.

The faint milled circles in the middle of the face are very nice looking. Wouldn't want sand to mess any of that up.

Today I kept Posh away from the sand for the most part...

That is a great Idea. I had at one point in my life, a set of titleist 690.MB that were copper plated by the Scratch guys. Unbelieveable look, wore off sooooooo fast. I hated to get rid of them.

I tried to keep my copper as clean as possible, but those very fine scratches are inevitable. As I've said, mine is going to be a gamer so seeing those scratches didn't hurt too badly.

Unlike you tho Nic, I will not hit my putter into the ground as hard as an iron. Finish should last a bit longer without hitting tree bark and river rocks.

Just about 500 with the crazy options. 300 is the base price for them though. Amazing deal vs. some OEM offerings.

May go back to the iomic though, gripmaster looked good, but just didn't feel as good to me.

As for protection, this one is all about patina and scratching. However, if we can't come to playing terms she will get polished and wall hung...

I'm late to this thread, but wanted to say that the putter is amazing Dave. Great color of blue and I like the head design. Not crazy about the twisty hosel, but that is a matter of personal taste. Enjoy it - whether you game it or game room it.

Thanks Blaine. The feel is amazing and not once in using it today did it notice the neck when putting, although my fingers did seem drawn to it, tracing the twist as I waited to putt.

Have a dot on my other Byron, but I never use it, so this one is naked.

I tend to square the face to the putting line and let it go.
