I'm thinking on this one, it's quite amazing that we only had TWO people end up under par.  I thought I had a dang good team going into it too!

What’s even more amazing is that @SBB and @Pettitt95 only had a 3 pick overlap and still finished with the exact same score and winnings. Those odds are long.

I’m hoping Lamkin Golf are big Oprah fans - @SBB gets grips, @Pettitt95 gets grips, DLK gets grips, errbody gets grips!!!! That’s some admittedly pie-in-the-sky hoping, but it seems like the actual winners ought to at least get their due on the photo finish. It’s too close to call.

If not, perhaps there’s enough in the kitty from our whopping $2 entry fee to cover an extra set? Maybe take up a collection? Or even go the Judgement of Solomon route and threaten to cut all the grips in half? That’d be my vote. All I’m certain of is that I do not envy you as arbiter of this situation.

Re: more chances to win - I’d probably have better luck letting the auto-pick bot handle my team for the remaining majors. I do still have three auto-picks left… hmmm

You’re not alone there. These pools are a good reminder to me of why I need to do the free ones and not gamble any real money. Haha

and yes, Lamkin has been great to work with and loves what our forum is all about!

So my pool app isn’t updating. When I go look at it, it is pulling up next weeks tournament already. Any ideas? I thought it was my internet but it’s not.

It's there - drop down and go the last week in the weekly scoring or standings.

I find that. But when I click on different people it’s showing scheffler at -16 and so it’s like it’s not updating for some reason.

First pick'em and understand the under par concept and missed cut aspect but haven't made my picks based on who may shoot the lowest determined by course and field.  I have just been going thru the field so I don't have to many picks.  Harder tracks, I should have been just trying to survive and the easier tracks that tend to score well, I should have been choosing the rockstars.

I was in the same boat this morning and even looking at the date...I guess I needed some coffee.  

Yeah I had some sort of thought like that too after the Masters.  I had a strategy, but having to rethink that right now.  And who would have thought Scottie would go on this run?  And how long will it last?

I did the same thing yesterday evening. I almost posted in here until I looked at the date the tournament started. Then I was bummed that it's the Zurich this weekend.

Sungjae Im withdrew from THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson on Thursday morning, less than 30 minutes before his scheduled tee time. Im withdrew due to illness, according to PGA TOUR Communications. Im won last week in his native South Korea, defending his title at the KPGA Tour's Woori Financial Group Championship

I don't know what I'm more upset about - that the absolute chaos of work this week made me miss submitting my picks, or the fact that the randomizer yielded a 10th place finish. Is the universe telling me that picking at random is more effective than my "educated" selections?

Nice breakthrough win for Taylor Pendrith .  I think that gets all of the current Canadian tour players into the winner circle?  Did anyone else notice the Odyssey Putters "Strokes Gained Target Distance" they were showing on lag putts?  That is a much more telling way to display what that really means.  An example, had Campos at 50'4" and needed to get inside 4'2" to gain strokes on the field. 

Jake Knapp was unconscious this weekend on lag putts - seemed like he was only outside 1' on a few.  Probably the same for most of us, but I find better than average lag putts usually translates into better than average scoring.

I feel ya. Crazy road schedule last week so I didn’t have an opportunity to dig into my lineup until late Wednesday night. Kept getting an ERROR message every time I tried to set my picks. Finally gave up and left my fate in the hands of the auto-pick bot. Best finish of the season and jumped up 9 spots in the overall standings. FML.

Did anyone else notice that the auto-pick bot beat all of us at the Farmers Insurance Open? It accounted for the only (2) Hojgaard selections that week… well played @EasyPutter. On the flip side, the bot also picked the bottom three teams at The Masters, which doesn’t bode well for my new auto-pick majors strategy.

We’re at the halfway mark for the 2025 season and I think anybody within 200 shots of @Bohnson still has a good shot at the title, but staying on the right side of cut line is going to become much more crucial with each passing week.
