Interesting concept. I like the idea of a focal point on the ball to try to strike through, if it helps reduce swing thoughts and aids focus. If I didn't have so many balls sat in the garage waiting to be played and lost, I'd definitely consider this. I might try drawing similar on a couple of balls and see how it works.lol. A stamp to add to existing balls would be useful though. I mostly play TP5x, but I really rate, and have quite a few, Bridgestone Tour BX and BXS.

Edit: Did this for a bit of a joke, but I'm also curious to see if having a small circular spot to focus on does actually help... even if it's a bit crappy looking. So when I hit the sim on Friday, I'll be trying a couple of variations on this theme (marking up the second ball shortly)

From the very beginning of the article:

"Their latest creation is Mindset, a line of balls with three circles printed on the side. Each ball has a green circle enclosed by yellow and red circles, providing a focal point for where contact should be made in both full-swing shots and putts. "

When reading the Bridgestone site it describes the three steps.  With the third being:

Step Three:  FOCUS ON THE DOT.  In this step, you stay connected to the target, clear your mind of analytical thoughts, focus on the green dot and execute the shot you visualized.

IMO, to focus on the dot it needs to be on top.

I read that, but as cnosil posted, to focus on the green dot, it needs to be on top.

Your SOL on using the circles to do the process.  They say use on tee and greens.

Perhaps it is a built-in, subliminal system that helps golfers not waste any shots between the tee and green?
