Good evening Spies, before the site scheduled maintenance may make posting difficult/improbable.

Currently 93 degrees here with 60% humidity making it feel like 98.

Guess summer has finally arrived here, although it does rain each morning before it becomes sauna like.

Evening spies. Ate something today, let’s see if it takes. Spousal unit is on antibiotics for a while but is doing well. Really leaning on this being the last major surgery. No reconstruction on our minds after this fiasco. No golf today, not looking good for tomorrow but we’ll see. I do have to shorten my son’s driver an inch, and my ping the same. Maybe when the spousal unit goes back to sleep. Have a great evening!

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.

Evening everyone!

I know the site is about to go down, so I'm going to be a little crazy in the morning not being able to post first thing. I'm not going to know what to do with my hands!

@Erin B I hope you and the spousal unit get to feeling better.

Maybe we'll see you later, might be it's later on tomorrow. I hope y'all have a good rest of the night.

Those things are pricey. I want one but I have to wait. CIC said so.

Good evening everyone! Halfway through this week! Took the day to use some PTO and hit the beaches of Newport and spend some time with family. Have the day off tomorrow so going to hit a par 3 with a buddy tomorrow night! Working on those shots off a tee on Par 3s. Hitting from 150 out on a par 4or 5 has ben dialed but par 3s have been causing some strokes on my game recently. Beat part of golf is how it always has something to work on. Might hit the range in the morning before the gym to keep the driver flowing but we shall see how things pan out.
Work week is halfway through. Remember as long as the ball is moving forward your getting closer to the goal and thus is life. You got this!

Been playing for about 2 years in total. Winter breaks and a 6month period when I got sick. Starting to feel like myself again and recently played a “okay” round.
I currently have custom fit Cobra LTDx irons/wedges, a Vokey 60(cause my short game has been the best part of my game, and a Maverick 9 deg. Driver. Driving is the worst part of my game so My 4 iron usually takes alot of the long game abuse.

It was indeed but cheaper than a new truck. I have been looking at them for a couple years now.

Started a second business where I need to secure tools in the truck and fortunately will be able to write part off as well.

Glad to see things are looking better. Seeing that you have the mind to even think about a driver having to be shortened seems like a good thing if you catch my drift

Love my topper.  People call me an old man for it but I keep a lot of my carpentry tools in there to free up garage space, and when we go on vacation no need to worry about any luggage or bags getting wet!

Been having mortal hell getting back on the forum since the maintenance shut down… Beginning to get a tad paranoid 🥴 that the mods were purging the rolls….
Before I get escorted off the forum again; a quick update..

Made it home to the “ Dark Kingdom “

My “ Budget Busting Beauty “ is interested 😏🥴😳 in a Lexus GX 460

Put her off by saying we were waiting for the storm front to clear out (this Weekend )……

….. Gives me time to do a “ deep dive “ into a non-paint hail repair system for autos….

Take care out there… Especially those dealing with weather issues..

Evening spies!  I too have been thinking about a raised topper for the Colorado.  But even used the prices are quite, how do you put it.... too much!!!  Yours all look good, color matched, etc

I like having the tool box, but also may consider a custom cut around tonneau cover to free up the back seat area.

Good evening spies,

Not much going on in my world except for finals week, only a review and the final itself to complete which will probably get done Friday.

Teeing up tomorrow after a few practice sessions, feeling a lot better about where my iron game is back to and ready to take it out to the greens.

Enjoy your rest of your night folks.

Good evening Spies on another day that seemed like being in a sauna here today.

Supposed to get some storms again shortly, but then back to the sun, heat, and humidity tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday.

Went to dinner with my son, grandson, SWMBO, and her sister and brother-in-law tonight for my birthday. Great time and great company.

@Dead Solid Bogey hope you get your forum issues resolved, and I will say that the Lexus vehicles are the most reliable vehicles on the road. Based on numerous media outlet reports and testing.

I have a 2021 ES350, drove it to VA and averaged 33MPG back and forth, while being comfortable.

@Michael.Sandoval33 hope you have fun on the course, and best wishes getting final week completed successfully.

@Josh Parker Texas is the number 1 state in truck sales for all of the OEM manufacturers, and a market they all seem to be heavily involved in making sure they meet the requirements of the end user consumer.

Well, since I’ve boarded my last flight to St. Louis. Story time.

In August of 2022 I got news that my dad had cancer. The extent wouldn’t be found until four months later when it was found to be stage 4. My brother and I knew it was only a matter of time before he was gone. I told him I’d be surprised if he was still with us January of 2024. Well 2016 I had did the ancestry dna kit to see my countries of origins. It was cool seeing all the places my ancestry took me. Fast forward to December of 2022, two months after I got married I got an email from ancestry telling me I had a new match. For some reason I opened it, as I had not ever opened one of them before. I saw it was my brother, but instead of saying sibling it said half-sibling. I called and spoke to him and we decided to keep that between us two. But this led to looking into more stuff. We found that I was the John Snow (if anyone gets that, you get to start 2 under in your next round of golf). The man who I grew up knowing as my dad passed away in November of last year. It was a rough time. My brother and I made a decision we were going to confront our mom about it. She confirmed that I was the John Snow. With the help from ancestry website and 23andMe, I found two people I reached out to on my biological fathers side both would be an aunt and uncle. I got a response back and have been talking to that side of the family I have never known or met since March of this year. I found and have also been talking to my biological father since March as well. I am flying back to Missouri to actually meet him and a few other members of that side of the family for the first time. To say I’m excited, nervous, and all emotions in between is an understatement. But I told my wife I wanted to meet him first in order to make sure he is a good person. There was a week or so I would hit the forum hot and be off and running in numerous areas of the forum. But between testing the SQAIRZ Velo shoes and trying to get to know my biological dad, I’ve taken a back seat to posting as much. I’m hoping these next 5 days goes well so I can foster a relationship with him and that side of the family. So that’s my story right now.

Sounds like an emotional (and potentially traumatic) year! Sorry for your loss.

I was adopted as an infant in the UK and birth parents - at the time- signed away all rights to access and information, so it was all on me whether I wanted to track them down and contact.

I have a good relationship with my birth mother now, but waited until my late 20s to find her. I vividly recall the first time I met her. That was the first time I met a blood relative. Different for you, but I hope meeting and getting to know your bio father goes well and he turns out to be a decent person.
