Good Evening! I’ve had to take a break from the forum for a couple of weeks because of some family stuff and crazy long days at work!! I missed a lot of stuff and SO MANY GOOD TESTING OPPORTUNITIES being announced! This forum is on fire with testing opportunities! 
 

I was able to get out golfing with my brother, @MBernGolfs, yesterday for 9 holes and it was a lot of fun! Ended up shooting a +4 40. I had my best chip-in of all time on hole 17. I unfortunately couldn’t see it drop because the green was elevated about 20 feet. It was a full swing flop shot and it was epic!

Tonight I’m watching a movie with the kids and enjoying a blueberry hard cider!

Good evening spies!  Welcome back @jbern.  Life gets in the way of leisure,  amd that's just facts. hopefully you were able to overcome whatever it was.

GC duties again,  then played 18 instead of 9 holes as planned.  (In the how'd you play thread)

No dinner plans, so probably going to just throw together some tacos.

Good evening everyone. Had a great day at the golf tournament until lighting forced us to stop early.
Our group was -7 after 12 and by all accounts we were the front runners at the time. 

It was a great event with lots of support from family, friends and lots of local businesses. My son even won the raffle drawing for a LAB DF 3.0

I’d be more jealous if I wasn’t already loving my Odyssey AI Milled and the Scotty Phantom waiting in the wings. 
In all, it was a great day for golf. Hope we can do it again next year.

@jbernit's good to see you back on here and hopefully things have settled down for you. That flop shot sounds like it was epic and I wish you could have watched it go in the hole. 

@Preeway it looks like you had a great time playing in a tournament for a good cause. It's sad to hear about such a young man losing his life at an early age. 

I hope your son enjoys the DF3, that's a really cool raffle prize.

Good evening Spies from a mixed bag weather day here today.

Sunshine, then rain, then more sun and humidity, then more rain, off and on all day.

Congratulations @Preeway to you and your son, and a really great event there. 

Welcome back @jbern, sometimes life unfairly rearranges our priorities or desires.

Made it to the Woodward Dream Cruise this morning and will post a link to some pictures in the "Random Thread."

One thing to note, this event is about 20 miles long, with about 30,000+ vehicles and about 500,000 or more people, and I stayed in a relatively small area to capture the ones I took.

More rain in the forecast here for tomorrow, so next week will be first opportunity to get back out for me.

Good evening, Spies! More travel weirdness. I picked up my rental car at 12:50 p.m. today for my work trip; that office closes at 1 on Sunday. I drove away and soon noticed a low tire pressure light, and the car informed me which one it was: The left rear was at about half the standard pressure and dropping quickly. Too late to get back there before they closed, so I headed for the airport, the only one of their locations open on a Sunday afternoon. They confirmed my suspicions that there was a puncture/slow leak of the tire, replaced the tire and got me on my way about two hours after I noticed the leak. But no way I could have driven two hours on that tire, so it was an easy choice. Let's hope the rest of the week is less eventful. Called Pinehurst to get a tee time tomorrow on the Cradle and got a recording; I may have just missed them. One of those days.

Good evening spies! Hot day today, scoring was at a premium today and unfortunately I had two self inflicted double bogeys.

Look, I hate posting on all these posts about how’d you play and what did you practice. It’s tiresome. So I played well, didn’t score like I wanted, practiced playing from behind, and struck the ball very well. I didn’t chip as well as usual but still not bad. Had a great time and met new golfers. There, that’s all my info in one post. Hope you all had a great day as well. Good evening everyone!

I’m kind of the same way. I do occasionally post in other topics but typically refrain from posting the same thing 3-5 times. 
Currently sitting in the Seattle airport waiting for our flight home that doesn’t arrive until midnight. Gonna be a rough day tomorrow but it was worth it to see family I hadn’t seen since I moved to Omaha 20 years ago. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good evening Spies on what was a pretty crappy day here weatherwise, but a pretty good day overall.

Rained off and on the majority of the day, and evening but we also were able to spend about 3 hours hanging out, socializing, and eating with family and friends.

Weather here starts to improve tomorrow, and I am hoping to get rounds in on Tuesday and Thursday this upcoming week.

Safe travels home @Preeway and hope that you aren't too tired on Monday.

@Erin B the fun factor always matters more than score when playing casual rounds.

Hope the rest of the Spies have a great evening/night as well.

Good Monday evening spies! Thunderstorms are hitting us right now so I’m glad I canceled my tee time. Still not feeling good but hopefully tomorrow as I have practice for the club championship on Labor Day weekend. Came across this Monday funny and thought I’d share. It made me laugh! We traded in the golfcart for a 4 seater so I can take it on the course and I'm waiting on a couple parts to finish it out. Have my divot sand and cooler installed.

Good evening Spies. Arrived in Charlotte following a detour through Pinehurst, where I was reminded why I went to Scotland in July: Summer in NC is freaking hot and humid. In spite of that, played the Cradle twice. One birdie, 3 pars and too many 5s. My putting was generally better, including the 12 footer for the bird and a 20-footer for an up and down par. Rest of the short game sucked, except for one of my better sand shots from a deep bunker (when I promptly missed the 4-footer for par). But I needed to play again.

Good evening Spies from a cooler but drier Michigan.

All I managed to do was some work around the household, and some additional coordination/planning for our car clubs show on the 31st.

Have 2 local tv stations that want to do promotional interviews next week.

Weather supposed to stay cool again tomorrow, but a lot more sunshine than the brief glimpses we saw today.

Have a round scheduled in the mid-morning, as it is supposed to get to lower 50's tonight with a high of upper 60's tomorrow.

@Josh Parker that cart looks awesome! 

@Michael.Sandoval33 hopefully FedEx doesn't drop the ball again, and the delivery goes smoothly tomorrow.

Evening spies!  Long day on duty. Ugh. @Michael.Sandoval33. We have that same issue, usually it's the driver just not wanting to stop, or to get off work early (maybe to play golf?)  Usps is notorious for marking my packages as "driveway not accessible" or "undeliverable " too

@Erin B. Hope you kick this crud quickly !
