I went through the fitting on the site and they fit me for the Tour ball, but it doesn't exist yet. I clicked on the Prefer the Avant link under the Tour ball recommendation and then clicked Try Before You Buy on the Avant ball page. They are sending me some to try for $5 shipping and handling. I'll let you know how it goes and what they send.

OnCore emailed a couple weeks ago asking me to take their ball fitting survey. The questionnaire was painless and for my trouble they promised to send me a sleeve that matched my results. The catch, I had to pay $3.99 for shipping. Why not... $4 to test the elixr seems reasonable. The package arrived a couple days ago. And much to my surprise, they also included a sleeve of the avant.

Good on them for doing that.  I love hearing things like that from small companies.

 

I absolutely loved the elixr ball.  Performed just as good as a pro v1 for me.  I really liked the soft feeling cover especially off the putter but what really got my attention was how well it held it's line in the wind.

I ran out of Kirkland sig balls this year and gave the elixr a shot (free sleeve, why not). I'll echo this in saying it's been a great ball.

 

I still have two or three more sleeves from other companies to try before I commit, but if I had to pick one today it'd be Elixr.
