I mention this because in the news recently was a story about an unfortunate man who died from food poisoning .. at a restaurant owned by a Disney affiliate. The family was suing .. but Disney filled for a dismissal based on - get this - the man, several years earlier, had signed up for a free one month trial of Disney+.

Within that Disney T&C that he (like all of us) accepted without looking at or reviewing was "Hold Harmless" language protecting Disney and all of its affiliates and subsidiaries. Forever. 

Well after that blew up in their faces they withdrew the motion for dismissal. 

Anyway, back to Vice. What legalese could possibly included in a T&C fur golf balls??? Well these better be mega super exceptional outstanding or it may be my one *and only* order from them.

The irons and wedges have arrived! Received a 58° instead of a 60°, but I'm not sure that's a big problem.

It's quite a ways back.  Haven't measured it, but the cart isn't nipping at your heels.  You just walk in front of it and it follows you.  Senses change in direction and if you stop walking it doesn't run into you.  In the video I'm trying to hold the phone on it, maneuver around my patio, and avoiding running it into anything whilst making a 180 degree turn and I had no issues.  Think of it like driving with a trailer, just take corners a bit wider.

Also the 5 hybrid shaft on the cobra King Tec is .5 -.75" shorter than standard. I didnt like it at all.  It is standard 5 iron length which is very uncommon. 

What I did was pull the MMT Hybrid shaft and install it on my srixon 23 zx uility iron and now it matches my Irons. I bought a $10 recoil   shaft demo from Dallas Golf for a 4 cobra hybrid and just swapped adapters from the demo to the King Tec. It played so much better at the std length but I ended up selling it as I still love the Exotics C721 25*. But MMT shafts are great and it was worth the price just to obtain the hybrid shaft.

Just wanted to have a smaller stand bag that wasnt 14 way. Nice bag. Not flimsy. 5 way top

I had some credit that I needed to use and have been focusing on stretching and some exercise, so I ordered the Golf Forever.  Figured I will do a unofficial review on it as well.

Yeah, distance control on fast and undulating greens was a huge problem.  And I learned I do not handle lighter putters well.

I have been flirting again with several blades, all similar looking Newport/Anser designs with a plumber’s neck.  I even dragged this haggard old lady onto the course with me today and she performed well.  

That settled it   I am a blade man   (For now?)

The last couple days I went to the local shop and hit all the blades - LAB, Bettinardi, Scotty, Evenroll, Wilson, Ping, TM, Odyssey, Cleveland, etc.  (I know one should not hit a lady, but this is different.)

Just refinish that metal x. I played mine for like 10 years and has a great feel off the face.

Went black with some red

 

Then went with green and a green pure grip and sold it eventually for what I paid 15 years back.

Going to go with the traditional, got a kit off of Amazon that should be here tomorrow that is comes with the grip remover, tape remover and everything. Can't wait!

If your grips aren't worn out, you could potentially save them by removing them with short bursts of low air pressure.

I had thought about, but the grips on the irons right now are on their last leg so I'm just going to go ahead and scrap them. A lot of sweat and tears poured onto those bad boys.

Those will help, I just found my weighted club out in the shed, able to hit shots with it but also build golf muscle to gain speed.

I just bought the generic SuperSpeed stick on Amazon to try out some over speed training. We’ll see how that goes.

I recently purchased 2 gloves from Red Rooster. I got the Wing and the Scots Silver. Both are very nice but after 2 holes with the Scots Silver the palm ripped. I switched to the Wing and was able to finish my round. The wing is buttery soft and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I filled out a contact us form to ask about the scots silver and they still have not gotten back to me. There is no email to reach out to them and no phone number to call.

That is rather strange, I had no problem communicating with Red Rooster when the MGS glove orders were being placed. Their customer service rep via email was really helpful. Their contact info should be on their main website.

Thanks. It was the first putter I refinished.

Mine looked like yours with the black paint wearing and peeling in areas. All I did was tape up the face only and allowed the black paint to remain there as I didnt want to damage the insert, then sprayed it with foaming paint stripper carefully. 

After an hour I used an old golf brush steel side to easily remove all the paint. Came right off. Was left with a gunmetalish finish. Could have stopped there.

Then I used med grit sandpaper to remove some dings and imperfections, then finer grit to make it smoother, followed by steel wool and a rubbing coumpound to polish it and car wax to seal it. Then it became more of a glossy steel.

Then paint fill using nail polish and a toothpick to apply it. Acetone to clean any imperfection tho nail polish remover works obv.

Fun project. I suggest doing it since you already have it sitting around. Youll end up liking the putter more after I bet.

Now that’s one I’ll be on the lookout for. I’ve made a DIY version by connecting a similar length bar to a crossover symmetry band. Doesn’t quite work the same but can do some of the same exercises. Hope you find it as good as the marketing suggests!
