I bought a drizzle stick from the Golf course that I work at. We found it while helping clean out an attic space. Did not have a tag on it, so they gave it to me for 12 dollars. Still in the plastic sleeve. Now i have bag/club rain protection while using franken-cart v2.0

With the sale of Lamkin Grips to SuperStroke earlier this year, getting hard to find Lamkin grips in stock at any golf shops around here???

Had to regrip a couple sets of clubs for some playing partners, and since I have the Lamkin Sonar+ on mine, that is what they wanted as well.

Managed to find these Lamkin Sonar+ hero grips in stock at our local Golf Galaxy, so bought 26 of them to complete the regripping tasks I did the past couple days.

Same feel, texture, and tackiness as the other Sonar models, just blue grips with red and white trim.

 

 

@Michael.Sandoval33 those Mizuno irons look GREAT!! Really like the ferrules.

Decided to try the reverse taper putter grip.  I went with the pistol medium since I've been using a pistol style for a few years and it was the most comfortable.  Just had it installed yesterday so won't know how it does until next week, but felt great in the hands.

Unfortunately the original Lamkin Sonars are getting harder to find due to the sale. If you look on the plastic packaging with the barcade at the end. The older versions still made by Lamkin say made in Mexico, while the new ones under Superstroke say Made in China and don't feel as nice.

I cleaned out our shop of the older versions so I had an extra set of grips for myself.

They feel like a dream and look pretty snazzy to boot.

These are so slick looking. I believe these are the irons that got me interested in the Mizuno brand back in 2020 when I bought my current set of 921 HMs. I don't remember if I hit these at my fitting, but I know my 921's ended up being the best for my swing and just felt so nice.

Was listed as "average," but other than the few sky marks and the original grip (zero grip left, lol), this thing's in perfect shape. 

It's the titanium model, for those keeping score at home.

I use to own this as well until I gave it to my nephew as he was starting golf.

Thanks for mentioning the code! I missed that completely. Just ordered some more Tour X (2x) and Tour X Align (2x) to give the latter alignment markings a try. I don't really *need* more balls yet, but that's a solid deal.

Went on a shopping spree last night for an entirely new top end of the bag….for my daughter. She is finally at the point of getting beyond the top end from her box set and well Callaway had a lot of lefty gear on the preowned site at good prices. She ended up with a Mavrik driver, Epic Speed 4 wood and Mavrik 4 and 5 hybrids. The scary part is she enjoyed shopping for clubs more than I did. Next up is a new putter.

Well spoke too soon.  Had everything in the cart and was going to pay for it after I posted.  Didn't do it last night since my wife uses Rakuten and I didn't have the login.  In true me fashion I had to poke around a bit more to see what else I could find and ended up with an Epic Max driver, Epic Max 4 wood and two PXG 0211 hybrids for $227 shipped to my door.  Sometimes procrastination pays off.

I have been spending time with my therapist AGAIN. Kingsmill was tough. There is only so much abuse I can take in that short a time frame. These MGS outing are a lot of fun for the golfers. Not so much for me. Did you see what those F’rs did to me.

I travel hundreds of miles, sometimes thousands and for what…. I always seem to be the villain. Okay maybe I am, but it gets tough when you show up to a party and nobody is happy to see you.

I’ve worked through these issues. I have accepted my role in this golfing community and I look forward to busting all your balls. 
I am always looking .  Always here, Always……..

Im sure your therapist has resigned by now, seeing the multitude of issues you seem to carry.  However, I am willing to accept you as you are, and if you are ever down my way, I would gladly show you around, maybe even show you how to avoid the water on our courses.

Recently received my latest pick-up.

PXG was running a 2-day sale on a few specific items at the same time Amazon Day was happening earlier this month. One of the items was the SugarDaddy 2 wedges. I'd been wanting to try them, so I grabbed a pair. They won't see the course until Spring, but I didn't want to let the deal to by without grabbing them.

My PW/AW are 42.5 & 48, so going 52/56 made sense to me to help eliminate the really lofted LW and to keep a nice gap.

I also wanted to give the Mizuno Fli-Hi iron replacement hybrids a go in the long iron area, since that's a really messy part of my bag and the transition from woods to irons are usually not my best spot. Carl's has them for $25 off, so I grabbed a couple. I need to replace the shaft in the 20* to match my set, but the 23* is good to go right away. I've heard really good things about these iron replacement hybrids and long irons are really bad for me, so this was a no brainer. What's really interesting about these is that unlike traditional hybrids, the head sizes change from the highest to the lowest lofted options. You can see it a little bit in the second image.
