Looking to buy one as well so any recommendations are welcome! Here is the one I bought. Easy to use, easy set up and pretty durable. I keep it in my golf bag as I would forget to take it and it hasn't broken yet. For the cost I think it was worth it. This is much easier than trying to set up your ph/camera on your bag. Side note, people will tend to watch you/me more wondering why a guy with my swing is even bothering to video and should just go to the bar. KevGolfnut61
I just purchased the new Callaway Paradym driver and Callaway UW 17 degree. Like them both after 1 round but will give a full review after a few rounds. Before I give you the update of the clubs, let me give you a little information about me. I am 56 years old with a club head speed of 107. I have been playing golf since I was 10. Here is the review for both clubs. The 10.5 Paradym driver is great paired with the HZRDUS Smoke Blue PVD 60 gram 6.0 shaft that I was fit into a couple years ago. I really like look of the club at the address position. It sits square which is what is appealing to the better golfer. The ball is fast coming off of the club. The sound is much more muted than the Epic Flash which is what I compare it to since it also had the slider weight in the back. I do feel like the Rogue LS was a little more muted sound, but it did not have the slider weight. I am a sound and feel guy, so while it is not as muted as I would like the performance will keep the club in the bag. The Paradym is very forgiving and straight. There is not much loss of distance on off center hits. I also hit a lot more fairways compared to my other Titleist TSR3 driver. Overall I think Callaway did a great job with having 3 different heads that should fit various golfers this driver with the options of the X and the Triple Diamond heads. The 17 degree UW is a club that will fit the needs for the golfer looking for a ball flight in between a fairway wood and hybrid. The first thing you will notice is the shorter length of the shaft. It is shorter than a fairway shaft, but it is longer than a hybrid. This ball comes off hot. The appearance of the club from the address position is appealing. The profile is right where you would expect it to be which is right between the fairway wood and a hybrid. The ball flight is piercing. If this is a club you are looking for off of the tee you will not be disappointed. It is much more forgiving than a driving iron and the shorter shaft makes this club easier to control. However, at 17 degrees if you are looking for a club to hit into par fives it may not be the club you want. The performance is great off the tee for those tight par 4's. I would like to try the higher lofts in this club to see how they perform. I will be looking to try the Paradym 3 wood to see if it is what I am looking for which is a club from the fairway as well as off the tee when needed. I hope this is helpful to those looking at the new Callaway Paradym driver. The Mad Bomber
Winter time in Canada can be rough on the wallet. Just replaced my S18 60º with a T22 Denim Copper 60º, traded the U500 2-iron for a PING iCrossover 3-iron and my buddy gave me a TSR2 15º and I like it so I don't think I'll give it back. That replaced the 917 fairway that had been in the bag a few years now. I was thinking of buying a new putter, but gave my Scotty a new paint job and I think that'll hold me over for now lol. sirchunksalot, edingc, cksurfdude and 5 others 8 Quote Titleist TSi3 8º - LAGP DJ 65TX Titleist TSR2 15º - LAGP Tour AXS Blu 70X PING iCrossover 3i - PING Tour Chrome 2.0 X Mizuno MP-5, 4-9 C-Taper Mizuno T22 47.5º, 52º, 56º, 60º C-Taper Scotty Special Select Newport 2 Titleist Left Dash -ProV1x

Invader Zim 315
So I got fit for a putter at CC this past week and was basically told my current gamer is well suited to my stroke. That being said... I still got fit into a Scotty X 5 and the fitter was great in not pushing me to make a decision. Fitting was worth it as It's nice to know my self tinkering through the years led me to the right place. I really do not need to switch, but it's a Scotty and it felt soooo good... Popular Post cksurfdude
First: yes I am going to get an iron fitting. Sometime soon. But in the meantime... New Level gi22 7i (technically not a "demo" that you return; you buy it at a reduced price to keep). The thing comes very well packaged .. club is between two thick layers of that heavy paper... Also comes with a neoprene cover; plus I haven't seen the head weight tagged on a club before... And here's what it looks like... It's actually a hollow body and yes a bit chunky, with some offset, but hey it's a GI iron. Paired it with a Recoil SmacWrap 760 F2 (A). Their online ordering process was nice .. you can customize all the specs, including loft .. the only minor shortcoming imho was limited grip selection, basically a tour velvet or multi compound (or none). Have already tried... Cobra Forged TEC-X, too briefly, sent it back and may have to give this one another go; picked up an Apex DCB (off CPO) which I really like; and have ordered a Wilson DynaPower and would like to add the Sub 70 749 (I think that's the new model #?) but that one's not coming out until April. Ok so why spend money on these demos? Well... these models interest me but won't be available at the fitter .. and wanna make sure I'm not missing anything in the DTC or smaller OEM brands that may work nicely for me; and then primarily that I get to use them at an outdoor range and out on the course - head to head vs each other and vs my current 7i. oh and the "winner" will go into the fitting Kenny B, edingc, Grand Stranded and 8 others 11 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... berkeleybob
Thanks to@cksurfdude and@GolfSpy MPR for turning me on to this. It’s a PuttView yardage book of the course I play with whenever my brother and I meet up in the States. Visualization I remember reading somewhere that playing a course in my head with as much detail possible is almost as good as playing the course because your mind is building those neural pathways. So I would do that to either to prepare for the next day’s game or just to pass the time during sleepless nights. I’ve played the course enough times over the past few years to recall how I’ve done at each hole, which ones are troublesome to me, etc., but I haven’t really been able to give myself realistic yardage expectations to really know where my ball lands during my nocturnal visualizations. I can tell you that in the past I usually played the front nine much better than the back nine, because I would fall asleep by the 11th hole. On a whim, I decided to get one for my old home course, because I have an outside chance to play it before heading to the airport to return home. I got it for nostalgia, really. The first hole is a doozy—treelined and uphill the entire way, on a busy Saturday morning when everyone is standing around waiting for their tee time, you do not want to top your driver. I bought the major slopes version because I think the green map version is a little too detailed for my use. Until I’m consistently sinking 10 footers and two-putting, I’m good with this one. Here are the past conversations on the forum about the yardage books. New Level gi22 FYI - they have a pretty nice custom order page setup where you can specify each of length, loft, lie; shaft selection not the most extensive but they do have a few different Recoils .. which I like. Grip selection limited, though, to NL-branded Tour Velvet or MCC (or none). Have you tried the Tour Edge E722? We have an excellent fitter down here and he’s put a lot of my buddies in a set of these irons, and they all like them. I hit the 7i with the stock KBS shaft and it was very forgiving. It should give you a nice high ball flight and the distance you’d expect from a strong lofted SGI club. It’s a very nice looking club also. Tour Edge also offers a 30 day money back guarantee if you don’t like them, so it’s kind of a no lose proposition. My 7W seems to fly on a completely different (higher) trajectory than my 4H, which makes me think I’d like to keep both in regardless but if the distance ends up being the same, who knows? Popular Post ole gray
My new irons from my Taylormade Kingdom fitting should be arriving soon! I'm all about having fun and scoring well so SGI irons are the ticket for me. I've scored consistently from the upper 70s to the low 80s over the last several weeks with my Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons. They're smoother than butter on a hawt corn cob however I had to have a set of irons fit personally for my swing. The Halos were bought off the used club rack at Dicks so I have no clue what the lofts and lies are set at. Without further ado here is my latest purchase! 202, sirchunksalot, berkeleybob and 14 others 16 1 Quote Ping G430 Max Driver 10.5 Degree Titleist TSR1 4, 5, & 6 Hybrids Titleist T350 Irons 7 - W48 Cleveland CBX ZipCore 52 56 & 60 Degree Wedges LAB Mezz Max Broomstick Putter / TPT Shaft (Platinum @ 45/78)
Popular Post MattF
The driver head came in. Just need a cheap shaft because I'm going to trade it when I get fit for a driver next month. After hitting the 430s this year, I didn’t see any improvement over my 400 max. If I was getting a new Ping, I would look toward the 425. It’s loud but it seems to perform better for me, I couldn’t agree more. After playing the G400 Max from the day it was released, I picked up a G425 Max last season when I switched to Senior flex and I loved it. I went to try the G430 Max with my buddy (he plays the Rogue ST Max) and he bought the 430, but I decided to stay with the 425. I did make one change however. They had a demo 425 10.5* head, and I was getting better results with it than my 9* turned up to 10*. That seemed strange so I went back again a few days later and tried it again. Same results, if anything the 10.5* was a little better the second time. I ended up trading my driver and ordering the 425, but it arrived with a splintered shaft (thanks FedEx). The replacement has been sitting in a FedEx location in Georgia for the past two days now, which increases my hatred for all things FedEx even more than I imagined possible. In my experience it is always better to get the loft you need instead of altering the loft via the adapter because of how it influences the lie and face angles. I always forget which does what, it for some it is better to get more loft and turn down and for others it is better to get less and turn up if the needed loft isn’t available standard. 202, cksurfdude, sirchunksalot and 3 others 6 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: Paradym AI Smoke Max HL 16.5* w/MCA TENSEI AV Series Blue Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Render w/VA Composites Baddazz Backup Putters: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe, Milled Collection RSX 2 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

I think it is a golf forum phenomenon to want to play golf with clubs that don't allow you to have fun and score well. I can't imagine playing football in cleats that don't fit your feet well but "look cool". In my world what looks cool is a low number at the end of the scorecard not what's at the end of my shaft. Different players at different levels will find different clubs that work best for their game and you have found yours. They look awesome! As always I think every golfer should play the most forgiving clubs they can effectively play. For me that is a players iron with an equal amount of control and forgiveness, 2 of my pards have SGI's that I helped fit them into because they work best for their game and the other is about a 10 index and has a set of GI's. I have no desire to "move up" to MB's and my pards don't want to "move up" to players irons. I know it is uncommon on a golf forum but it is called common sense right?
