I'm sort of doubling up here because I posted the pics in the putter forum too but what the hell. My club Pro bought several sample putters from the Ping rep for a good price and sold them to us at $100 each which is a bargain.  It's a Ping ZB S.  It is performing better on the practise green than the course so far but that's only one round.  Fingers are crossed it's the answer to my putting woes.

Bought a "lightweight" white golf hat with Kissimmee Bay Country Club crest on it.   I can always use a white hat for summer and this one, made by "Ahead" , was a special lightweght.  This was one of the courses we played on our annual Buddy Trip.

Played a buddy's MG C4 ball yesterday and really, really liked it.  Placed an order for 10 dozen when I got home.

Loved it off the putter and followed up with my longest drive of the day!  Plus, I won't have to "re-evaluate" next season's version of the ball - lol

Just picked up the irons I got fitted for. Srixon z545 4-PW and Cleveland Rotex 2.0 wedges 50, 56, 60 all in DGx100. 1 rd in and really impressed.

Just picked up Game Golf. Looking forward to really seeing where I'm at distance wise and accuracy wise. I'm not good enough to have a legit 15 yards between clubs, more like 5 - 40 yards depending on how well I hit the shot. They are $20 off during fathers day weekend FYI.

 

Also grabbed a Taylormade R1 Staff bag for $99 in PERFECT condition on our local "craigslist" type site. I may look like a douche but I'm sick of having my pockets and cupholders in the cart full of crap. It huge but it can hold everything and then some with ease. I love it.

Well I made it a few months without buying a club, but the streak has ended.  Found a good deal on a counterbalanced Odyssey Works #7 Tank with a Superstroke.  Took it out to a green last night for some putting and early results are promising.  Very stable and easy to aim.

I got my fairway wood cut down (Krank stock shaft was DRIVER length) and fixed my consistency issue with it, JUST the day before my eBay 17* Titleist 909 hybrid came in.

 

Took them both out on the course today and hit them both well, slighly longer with the wood and the hybrid is great from the rough and fairway!!

 

Adjusted the loft on the 19* 910 hybrid to 20.5* and dropped the 22* hybrid from the bag.

 

It's all good!  I like the consistency of having similar hybrids instead of the mix I had before.

Picked up a Scotty Futura X in a weak moment. This thing is just flat out ugly but yet rolls the ball really well. I putted so poorly this morning I contemplated adding a fifth wedge to just replace the putter.

So after seeing my store has a 90 day return policy, I decided to get some wedges and if I don't like them I'll try some others until I get some I love. I got the Vokey SM5 in 48 and 52 with 8* bounce in each. I kept my 56 with 10* bounce SM4 because its in great condition and I really like it. And I got the Mack Daddy 2 PM grind in 60 degree. Getting them extended a 1/4 inch and am picking them up on Wednesday. Pretty damned excited to hit the course with them. Especially the Mack Daddy.

 

If for whatever reason I don't love the Vokey;s I'll probably get the 52 Mack Daddy 2 tour grind and then a Ping Glide in 48 because the Mack Daddy doesn't go that low.
