Guys

I hope some of you were lucky enough to see the UCF/USF football ball game this afternoon.

It was one of the most entertaining games I've seen in a very long time. I didn't have a dog in the race which made it even better.

Great game check out the replays.

First full college game that I watched on TV in a decade. I've been to a few live. Exciting game but frankly the gap between college and the NFL in regards to quality of play is wide as an ocean. Receivers wide open, often and line backers so slow. Oh my.

 

Good thing it was exciting because it lasted over four hours! I could have driven to my club, hit a few balls, played 18, had a drink and come home in that amount of time.

While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course.  It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to. 

I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67.

True, feel for you. Here in this area FL it's all transplants from all over the north and the mixed emotions is evident. I have one friend who has Falcons season tix and does the 6-7 hour round trip. He's selling his seats after this year.

The Iron Bowl between Bama vs Auburn is coming up at 3:30 ....   I would love to see Auburn win so we can spank that arse in the SEC Championship.  I can guarantee you the tigers will see a different team if they face Georgia again.

I don't think so Ohio State lost to Michigan State and Michigan State would have the same record which would go to the tie breaker. Tie breaker is the head to head so that should put Michigan State ahead.

It's conference record that determines who goes. Ohio only has 1 conference loss. MSU has 3 conference losses. So a loss today would not have mattered to determine who went to the championship game.

Michigan can't beat OSU, just can't be done.

Now I will have to hear it for a week, would of, could of, should have, at work.

We are a really young team who cannot find a quarterback. Even being in the game and having a chance to win this year I am pretty happpy with the result, not happy with a loss, but happy they at least played well. 3 and out on every possession in the 4th quarter took a toll on the defense. Hopefully that Peters kid can stay healthy next year.

Maybe I'm the only one.But anyone else just turned off by the college football playoff hype?It used to be an honor making a bowl game a while back.Now it's all about the playoffs and the bowl game excitement is second.I really don't like where the college football game is heading
